Facebook's launch of "Libra" their cryptocurrency is a clear signal of confirmation that Bitcoin is legitimate and here to stay. Bitcoin is more than just software, it is a complex mixture of economics, game theory and theology. Episode 38: Toxicity & Faith
Toxicity has been a topical subject as of late in the Bitcoin world, surrounding the supposed vitriol and shouting down of opposing views in the space by those in Bitcoin called "Bitcoin Maximalist's". In this episode, I explain why toxicity exists and is a natural outgrowth of Bitcoin culture, that what has led to Bitcoin surviving and thriving is why the so-called "toxicity" exists and without it, Bitcoin will die.
Episode 37: Podcasting Journalism & Punditry
Every podcaster in the Bitcoin has to choose to be a pundit or a journalist. I struggle with this very question as I try to determine where I want the direction and my place in this space to go. As a journalist, to do it properly I could not voice my opinion as that would undercut my credibility to be objective, however, I would need to make people aware of my beliefs so they knew where my baseline was. As a pundit, someone with a mic and opinions, I would also be freer to be myself which is where I like to be. This episode is about how my thought process is on navigating this very stretch of murky waters.

Phil Zimmermann is a legend in the cypherpunk community, he developed the technology PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) which was the most popular email encryption program in early internet history. He released it to allow people internationally to encrypt their communications from autocratic regimes. Today I welcome Paul Rosenberg, cypherpunk, author and activist to talk about an unknown chapter in the liberty movement and cypherpunk history. The story of Bitcoin is inexorably intertwined with the story of the liberty and cypherpunk movements as their story, their accomplishments and their failures is what led to Bitcoin. Paul's story is one that combined the libertarian ethos of a space for people to live in a free market and the cypherpunks that wanted to defend the already free spaces of the internet from encroaching cyber tyranny.

Episode 24: The Lessons of Namecoin
In this episode I talk about Namecoin, the first altcoin and its lessons for the Crypto space as a whole. Namecoin was the first "altcoin" and sought to create a decentralized DNS service, an internet that wasnt controlled by ICANN and not subject to censorship. Emily talks about a topic that I am extremely passionate about, that being increasing the focus on improving the UX ( User Experience) in the Bitcoin space and storytelling.
Marketing when done right is storytelling and every major social movement has required good storytelling to begin, grow, conquer and thrive. Bitcoin has had many stories in existence, and we need to find the next on that will connect with the public at large to increase adoption.
Episode 22: Prof. William Luther Is Bitcoin Money?
In this episode I speak with Prof. William Luther about the question of whether Bitcoin is money or not. In past episodes I have spoken to multiple economists who have made the case that Bitcoin does meet Mises Regression theorem for money, however Prof. Luther makes the counter case for this and many other things.
This was an interview that I realized that very quickly I was talking to someone at a very high intellectual level but able to beautifully craft an easy explanation of a complex subject. Enjoy!

- His Background
- Why he doesn't think Bitcoin or Satoshi reflects the Austrian School
- Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of Mises Regression Theory
- Bitcoin IS MONEY regardless

In this episode I speak with Luke Mulks, Head of Business Development for the Brave Browser and Basic Attention Token. Brave is a browser concept that makes privacy easy, their philosophy is to have it come baked into the product and make privacy something you shouldn't have to think about.
Basic Attention Token is aimed at making the problem of advertising in the modern age profitable for both content creators/publishers and users. No one likes ads, but what if you had a choice? What if you could be paid to watch the ads that you see in front of you right now? Its a very neat concept.

-What Problem does Brave solve?
-How can BAT pay you to watch ads?
-How will BAT help content creators?
-The Privacy dilemma of our time
-The AWESOME UX philosophy behind Brave

In Episodes 16 with Kurt Wuckert Jr. andEpisode 18 with Murad Mahmudov I leveled criticisms against the use case for Litecoin and felt it was only fair to allow them to counter my arguments and make their case. This was a very fun episode, and I will let you make up your own mind.Andrew and I talk about…
- His Bitcoin journey
- What is Litecoin
- Litecoin as Bitcoins Testnet?
- Litecoin as Silver to Bitcoin’s Gold

This is a group that doesn't agree with each other on most things, they respect each others opinions and I respect the thoughts that derive from their conversations immensely. In this episode I am joined by Robert Murphy Senior Fellow at the Ludwig Von Mises Institute, Research Assistant Professor at Texas Tech, Co Host of the Contra Krugman Podcast and author of numerous book, including his latest, Contra Krugman: Smashing the errors of America's Most Famous Keynesian. Robert Murphy has been someone I've been following for years via his work with the Mises Institute and his work with Tom Woods of the Tom Woods show. We talk about the Austrian School of Economics which is best described as one that promotes a truly free market and intricately part of the Bitcoin story. I would argue that Bitcoin could ONLY arise from someone with a deep understanding of Austrian Economic theory.
Episode 14: Pierre Rochard And The Great Block Debate
Today I welcome Pierre Rochard of the Noded Podcast and well known Bitcoin Maximalist to talk about his views of the Scaling Debate and how Bitcoin can become global money. Last year in August of 2017 Bitcoin split because of the differences in approaches between these two groups. This is the second of parts featuring individuals from each side of the debate so that the public and newcomers can understand WHY it happened.

The world of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency are going to change forever November 15, 2018. I sit down with Vin to talk about how the era of the Hash War's are just beginning and why its about to change the world of Bitcoin and the rest of the world forever. You don't want to miss this.
