Dr. David Janiczek is the chief anesthesiology resident at the University of Illinois-Chicago Department of Anesthesiology. He completed both his undergrad and medical school at the University of Iowa. While he was a medical student at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Janiczek served in the medical admissions committee for two consecutive years. He has reviewed hundreds of applications through the committee and was a key voice in the admissions process. Through his experience and dedication, Dr. Janiczek founded Get Admitted MD, an affordable, reliable, and accessible advisory firm for premed students. He offers 1-on-1 mentorship and an online course that highlights insider knowledge, training, and teaching tools through the platform. Dr. Alex Schupper is a 2nd year neurosurgery resident at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. He did his undergrad at Johns Hopkins and his medical school at UC San Diego. Dr. Schupper is a highly-proactive neurosurgeon who has a multifaceted array of experiences. He has over 30 publications in scientific research, making him a competitive applicant for top residency programs. Dr. Schupper is also an athlete who engages in hyperactive sports such as snowboarding, baseball, and crossfit. He spends his free time hiking and cooking. As a surgical resident, Dr. Schupper is interested in using fluorescence-guided surgery. In fact, he is currently promoting a virtual reality program called Surgical Theaters that prepares surgeons with live modeling of the surgery they are about to partake. Dr. Schupper also has a podcast called RESLIFE. 

In this episode, we explore what it really takes to be a neurosurgeon (i.e. habits, mindset), the impact of patient turnout on a surgeon's mental state, and the ways to get published in both bench-lab research and clinical research. The Premed Consultants, founded by the popular Tiktok medical student Adam Nessim, is an advising and prep company for MCAT studies and medical admissions guidance. Medsembly, founded by physician assistant Rodeline Joseph, is a connective platform for medical networking for doctors, physician assistants, nurses, and prehealth students. Dr. Jeelani is a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a well-known and highly-skilled reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist. Dr. Jeelani started her medical journey in the Caribbean's at the Ross University of Medicine. She finished her residency and fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. She performed research on onco-fertility, where she explored the effects of toxins on reproductive function, chemotherapy and oocyte cryopreservation to give those facing cancer a better chance of seeing their dream of parenthood come true. Her research won her numerous awards and grants in reproductive medicine. She has authored a variety of publications and book chapters in well known journals highlighting cutting-edge REI advancements.

Dr. Dylan Greeney is currently a dermatology resident at Indiana University. He was a non-traditional medical student because he initially served in the army as a combat medic and army nurse. He was deployed from 2007-2008 in Iraq during the Iraq war, where he tended to over 900 patients. As a medical student, he was very active in research on both non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancer, with which he earned many awards and grants. Now, he is an active participant in VA (veteran affairs) to give back to his community. For hobbies, Dr. Greeney competes in men’s physique competitions and makes very informative TikTok videos, for his 70000 followers, on skin care regimen and product reviews. Dr. Leela Athalye is a recent board-certified dermatologist. She went to UCLA and graduated with honors in psychobiology. Dr. Athalye received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated among the top of her class. She completed her residency at Western University Dermatology program, where she also graduated among the top of her class. Dr. Athalye traveled to Costa Rica and India during medical school to both learn about the healthcare systems and study tropical diseases, especially leprosy.  Later, she participated in medical missions in Ethiopia, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. ​Currently, she serves as an assistant clinical professor at the Western University Dermatology program. In her spare time, she loves all forms of dance and travel. Currently, she practices both general and cosmetic dermatology for adult and pediatric patients.
