Empathy, the power of finding the echo of another person in yourself.
It's been over a month since we released our last episode, as you may have guessed, it's due to everything going. Ranging from Covid-19 to the mass awakening of America to racial discrimination and injustice. Tiffany and I have decided to record our two cents on what's going on in America today and propose a reasonable solution, one that empowers everybody. Please note, these accounts are purely based on our understanding, experience, research, and perspective, we are not representing any political or civil group, we are just a couple, who loves to debate, disagree, then agree and make LOVE.... maybe I should remove the make love part but you get the gist. ENJOY!
Growth Mindset, the foundation of sustained behavioral change and habit creation.
Do you embrace or avoid challenges? Do you see effort as an investment or a path to mastery? Do you see criticism as constructive feedback or do you let it weight you down? Are you genuinely happy for others when they accomplish their goals or do you see a need to outdo them? These and more are the questions we try to explore in this episode of Growth Mindset, and if it turns out you have a fixed mindset, hope is not lost as there are ways to change your mindset...
SACRIFICE: The only currency acceptable by success & key winnings in life.
Looking back at the wins you've had in life, we all have tons of them. Isn't it safe to conclude that you gave something up along the way to win? That is right, you probably did. In this episode, we broke down our understanding of sacrifice and the role it plays in achieving success. What is true is always true, life is about giving and taking... everything comes in duality. Will it make any difference if we are more mindful of the sacrifices it may take to achieve our goals in life? Are we even able to negotiate? Risk and sacrifice, is there a connection? Tune in to this week's episode to see what Don & Tiffany has to say on this paradigm.
Are we conditioned to avoid or embrace Risk?
So, In my opinion, this is the most thought-provoking episode we've recorded yet. The topic it'self is deep and the way we broke down its meaning and application is like no other that I have come across. if this was someone else's podcast, I would rate it a 5. It is a must-listen for every thinker out there.
Setting Intentional Goals.
Life Goals? Yes, life goals. What do they even mean and how can you set one? What are the best practices in setting goals and sticking to them and how your short term goals to your life goals, also known as the mission? These are the questions we try to think through and answer on this week's episode of MOTM. Hope you enjoy it.
