So it's important to realize that ketamine by itself is an anesthetic agent. In any other place in the world, if you receive an anesthetic, you should have an anesthesiologist, somebody who's been formally trained, it would be grossly inappropriate to go to a place and receive an anesthetization by a non-anesthesiologist. Largely by somebody who doesn't know the practice or doesn't know what to do in case of emergencies. So in this case, or in this particular facility, if there is an emergency, we are better equipped than most facilities. We do meet our requirements, we meet the state and the federal requirements.

I mean largely ketamine is being underutilized and I think people should recognize that with the amount of depression and anxiety and how many kids are going through college and they really can't function. Should they be getting ketamine? The answer is neither yes nor no. The patient needs to be assessed and if they are assessed and they've got anxiety and depression and it is limiting their ability to function or to proceed in life, they're more than likely a candidate. Continuous research about dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease is finding an indisputable link to depression. Seniors who develop symptoms of depression because of ensuing poor health, lifestyle changes and isolation are much more likely to be diagnosed with one of these three devastating illnesses.
