Conversation starter: The importance of our thought life.

Hello and thank you for joining. In this episode, I discuss the importance of our thought life. You may notice how I continue to repeat some things over and over again. This is intentional. A wise person once told me that repetition is the language of the kingdom and I truly believe that hearing something over and over again allows it to settle. I hope you guys enjoy!

An Excerpt for What's To Come from Dr. Chelle

An Excerpt for What's To Come from Dr. Chelle

This episode is a sneak peek at what I'll be working on while I'm on hiatus.  I'm still working out the details but this topic of raising sons is something near and dear to my heart.  I believe God gave me a  heart for boys long before I became a mom and had sons of my own.  I hope you enjoy the excerpt and be sure to stay tuned into the podcast!  If you have any feedback to offer or love the excerpt, please share with me via text @ 1.833.638.5442!

New Host Introduction- Mrs. Laquisha Williams

New Host Introduction- Mrs. Laquisha Williams

It's another episode of the Mahogany Moms podcast.  This episode is bittersweet as I will be going on hiatus from the podcast to work on this new thing that God has placed on my heart.  However, I believe He has sent someone that will serve as a great host for the podcast in my absence.  She is a woman of faith, a mom, wife, and the founder of Momma Moves.  This episode is all about who she is, how we met, and how she came to be the new host of the podcast.  I believe Mrs. Laquisha will inspire, motivate, and challenge you to be all that God says you are.  Enjoy!

Conversation Starter: Transparency vs. Vulnerabilty

Conversation Starter: Transparency vs. Vulnerabilty

This will most likely be your only conversation starter of 2022.  I saddened by so many people committing suicide.  It seems that its happening on a more consistent basis here lately.  I don't have the answer on how to prevent it but I do believe that having someone to be vulnerable could be helpful.  Its interesting to me that so many women have said they don't have a person that they can do that with.  That in and of itself is heartbreaking.  So, I want to encourage you moms to be intentional about finding someone you can be vulnerable with, and then actually laying your feelings and/or emotions bare.  I believe it has the power to transform lives!

Conversation Starter: Where is the Grace?

Conversation Starter: Where is the Grace?

Today on our conversation starter we are discussing grace for your assignment.  I heard a sermon by Nona Jones that had me thinking.  As moms, we find ourselves doing all the things, I know I have.  In doing all the things, it is easy to find yourself overwhelmed and overtaxed, so the question I have for you is, has the grace for that assignment been lifted or has the season for that assignment ended. I want to challenge you to get quiet and ask yourself is this task/assignment one that is God given and/or has my season for this assignment lifted.

Why You Need an Audiologist

Why You Need an Audiologist

Join us for another episode of the Mahogany Moms podcast!  On this episode, we are talking with Dr. Shayla Ferguson, an audiologist, mom, and wife.  She shares with us what an audiologist is and how she chose this career path.  Dr. Ferguson also discusses what to do when moms suspect that there is an issue with their child's hearing.  She also talks to us about her experience as a mom and what she wishes she had known.  This is an episode where you'll gain knowledge about hearing impairments but also hear the challenges that this mom has experienced.  Be sure to check out the resources here if you are a parent of a hearing impaired child or know of a parent that could use this information. I want every mom to have the information she needs to make informed decisions for her child!

*Be sure to text MOM to 1.833.63.85442 to tell us what platform you spend the majority of your time.  We want to connect with you.*
