Shane took over at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD a little over a year ago, and he and his team haven't stopped! The Pentagon is known as the home-base for the Sioux Falls SkyForce, the Miami Heat's G League affiliate, but Shane has turned it into a basketball training powerhouse.

We ramble through a conversation on training, coaching and the progress he made last Summer with professional players like Justin Patton, Reid Travis, DeAndre Liggins and more.

Justin DeGrood joins Reid Ouse in our first video episode of The Drawing Board.
Justin is the top assistant at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and he is responsible for running the team's defense.
"GAC" is a part of the MIAC, one of the top D3 conferences in the country every year. Justin's teams are consistently ranked in the top 2 or 3 in a league that regularly has teams ranked in the top 10 nationally in offensive efficiency.
We discuss making adjustments based on your personnel and also how the game has evolved from a defensive standpoint.
