S. 3 E. 19 "Metacognition and False Memories"
Welcome to another episode of the Dream On Podcast! This episode explores false memories in dreams and then asks, why do some people lucid dream while others don't? I explored a very plausible reason today! Here's the Article on Metacognition and Lucid Dreaming that I reference in this episode, keeping in mind that I am not a credentialled researcher or doctor myself but I sure am fascinated by these results! Hey everyone! Happy(?) Monday! This chill episode features all the rules I think you should follow for the easiest Lucid Dreaming experience once you're in the dream. S. 3 E. 16 "Dream Storytime: The End"
Hello there everyone! Today's episode title is real and also a joke, and that makes me laugh. I hope you all laugh a lot too when you listen to this pretty hilarious episode! I've heard your requests for more storytime episodes and also more episodes going back to basic lucid dreaming concepts, so I'll focus more on those things when coming up with new episode ideas. This hour-long solo episode should be a fun listen. Enjoy! Listen in, and Dream On! S. 3 E. 16 "Cults, Manipulation, and Dreams"
This episode is a casual discussion of how (lucid) dreams can be used against people in oppressive and manipulative situations, especially cults. I also pointed out that the openminded and many times alt living lucid dreaming community is especially susceptible to these sorts of ideas. Anyone can be drawn into a cult or fall into another kind of abusive situation, especially people who are altruistic and/or looking for acceptance. We're all vulnerable to being manipulated, and I hope that this episode gives listeners more empathy for and encourages less judgement of victims of these sorts of situations. Here are some resources that I suggest you check out if this episode's topic interests you: Here's the Let's Talk About Sects episode on The New Gnostic Society, and here's an article on Characteristics of a Cult by the International Cult Studies Association. Hello everyone! First of all, I'm excited to invite you all to the official Dream On Discord Community! Remember to claim a role or multiple to stay on the server and not be kicked out for inactivity. You may invite other listeners of the podcast to the server, but please ONLY share the server with fellow listeners so it doesn't get filled up with random lucid dreaming enthusiasts! Moving on, this episode is a review of the sleep study I'm doing tracking my own sleep patterns and analyzing them. S. 3 E. 13 "Sleep Study and Q&A"
Hello to my listeners, and welcome to the brief first introduction to the self-study I'm doing on sleep patterns! In this episode I went over some Q&A content, introduced the study I'll do over the next month (which you are welcome to try yourself!), and exposed my love of saying the word "Georgia." Also, I went over the fan-favorite update of listener location stats! Enjoy the episode, and do give feedback and submit questions! Listen in, and Dream On! S. 3 E. 12 "Self-Efficacy"
Welcome to this short and sweet episode on Self-Efficacy and Self Confidence! This is a quick episode made shortly before I went in for wisdom tooth surgery, as explained in the episode, so it's a little incomplete. Don't mind the lack of outro, I didn't forget it I just didn't have time to make it because now my mouth is swollen and my speaking ability isn't great. Please enjoy this episode anyways! S. 3 E. 11 "How Dreams Change (feat. Hawa)"
This episode is a fun one! Today I discussed how dreams change over the years of our lives with Hawa from It's Just a Dream. In this episode we discussed dream settings, casts, outfits, and more! There was a lot of discussion about how individuals' dreams differ, leading to some comparisons we can all enjoy pondering when it comes to how our own dreams work. I think this is a stand-out episode! Listen in, and Dream On! Hello everyone! In a slightly different direction from our usual content here on the podcast, today's episode is all about Shifting. My sister, Bridget, guest stars and helps me analyze this TikTok-born practice (which has a lot in common with Lucid Dreaming). We explain what it is, how the leaders in this realm of the internet say you can do it yourself, and we finish with some thoughts on the moral questions we're left with as well as other concerns we have about some of the ideas that come from within this unique community. I offer a few examples of death and pain in my own dreams, mostly during the second half, and end up talking for a lot longer than I thought I could on this topic! Listen in, and Dream On! Hello and welcome, welcome, welcome, to another episode all about Sleep Paralysis and Lucid Dreaming. S. 2 E. 2 "At Work Asleep"
Today, I mention my personal experiment investing in some jewelry to become more mindful and LD more (Spoiler: It actually worked), and then dig into why I disagree with the common Lucid Dreaming goal of learning to work in your sleep. To me, it seems both ineffective and unhealthy. An all-around bad idea.

S. 2 E. 1 "Aphantasia"
Do you see images in your mind when you think? Some people do while some don't. This lack of metal imagery, this lack of a "mind's eye" if you will, is called Aphantasia. Someone asked about whether or not I dream in pictures, and the answer is that I do. But, how do people with Aphantasia, who don't compose visual mental images, dream?
Thank you to the listener who sent in the question that helped spark this episode (I hope you actually have Aphantasia or I'm about to look so stupid lol), and thank you to my friend Nina for letting me interview her about Aphantasia!

S. 1 E. 12 "The Story of my Dream Cast"
This is a very personal episode and I didn't know if I'd actually post it. But, I feel that it'll help people understand dream characters, and this benefit outweighs the potential for me to be insecure about these parts of myself that I call my dream friends. Please be kind, I didn't create them, I was just conscious when my brain did.
I don't want anyone's thoughts on these characters, I just want to explain their existence.
I was nervous to make this episode because this isn't something I discuss with people - ever. But, apparently some of you do care about it and wanted to hear about the Twins. So, here's their origin story! It all sounds pretty crazy if you don't lucid dream, so be prepared for the weirdness if you aren't typically a lucid dreamer.

S. 1 E. 11 "Questions and Answers"
In today's episode, I answer some questions and announce Season 2 coming in a couple of weeks. I probably won't take a break between seasons, so don't worry, you won't have to miss the podcast for long! I'm also investing in a new microphone to start season two with, which should be great. This is a Q&A with questions from my Instagram story, and you asked some great questions!
Thank you so much for listening enough to motivate me to create a second season, it's appreciated. See you in Episode 12, and then in Season 2! Dream On!

When we have enough listeners then I'll start up a Discord or a Reddit community, probably around the end of Season 2 if the growth stays steady. If you want to help run either one or moderate them then please let me know.

S. 1 E. 10 "The Key to Dream Control"
Disclaimer: This episode is pretty much fueled by my personal opinions, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
In today's episode I talk about where I've been for the last two weeks, and thank everyone for their amazing messages and questions. Then, I get into my ideas about self confidence and how it relates to dream control. These are my ideas and personal theories, so please don't take it to all be one hundred percent correct!
Thanks so much to everyone who sent me messages on Instagram, and to my first Anchor voice message sender! You all made my day so many times. To everyone else, feel free to join in and ask questions or send compliments to the Instagram or through Anchor!

S. 1 E. 9 "Talk about Lucid Dreaming"
This episode features a quick list of terms you need to know (and do already, I'm sure) to talk about Lucid Dreaming and hear me talk about it, too. Then, I talk about our job as members of this community, whether you know next to nothing or you have a degree in something dream related, to educate people. Don't be afraid to talk about Lucid Dreams, they're really cool and we all know it. Everyone else should be able to know it, too!
Thanks for listening, I hope my ramble wasn't too bad! There are definitely some good thoughts mixed in there, I swear!

S. 1 E. 8 "Types of Dreams (and Dreams' Suggestibility)"
In this episode, I explain and define some terms I came up with to help categorize and understand types of dreams, and then rant about how no one can ever find any information on Lucid Dreaming. I also touch on what I'll cover in the next episode and talk about the inspiring fact that we're simultaneously our own Worst Enemy and Best Friend in our dreams and nightmares, which should be encouraging!
Dream Types (Just so you can see what I said):
Spectator/Director Dreams - You are watching the dream like a movie and possibly commenting on it and directing its plotline, consciously or unconsciously (due to dreams’ suggestibility).
Protagonist Dreams - You are experiencing the dream in first person, as yourself, changing the dream’s plotline through your actions.
Theatrical Dreams - You are experiencing the dream in first person, but you aren’t yourself, you’re someone else, changing the dream’s plotline through your actions.
