In a slight deviation from our usual format we take a deep dive into parental leave practices during medical training with Dr. Rebeca Ortiz Worthington. We use Rebeca's article in Academic Medicine as a launching pad from which to explore how childbearing during training affects the medical trainees choosing to parent and the wider medical community.
