How Full Is Your Cup?
You can't pour from an empty cup. Yet, why do we keep trying and continuously draining ourselves? Consistently doing things for everyone else and not taking the time to address our own needs leaves us feeling emotionally depleted and physically drained. It is only when we are able to replenish ourselves that we are able to fill up our mental, spiritual, and physical cup to prevent us from experiencing emotional distress.
