Welcome to the latest episode of the DTU Times Podcast! Today we are honored to have with us, Prof Ravi Grover. This Padma Shree awardee is a commendable nuclear scientist, the founding Vice-Chancellor of Homi Bhabha National Institute, and a member of the atomic energy commission. He served as the Principal Advisor to the strategic planning group in the Department of Atomic Energy and led the Indian side during the negotiations for the Nuclear Deal accompanied by Mr. Anil Kakodkar.

#6: Himanshu Gupta, AIR 27 UPSC-CSE 2019, DTU '16
In this episode, we dissect the humbling journey of Himanshu Gupta, an electrical engineer from the 2016 batch of Delhi Technological University, who cracked the extremely competitive UPSC examination. He worked at Qualcomm right out of college; but then left his job to pursue the civil services exam - an exam all too infamous for taking years of preparation and grit.

#2: Phil McKoy: Chief Information Officer, UnitedHealthcare
In the second episode, we have Mr. Phil McKoy with us. He is the Chief Information Officer at UnitedHealthcare of the UnitedHealthGroup. UHG is the largest healthcare company in the world by revenue, and ranked at number 6 on the Fortune 500 list. He was present at Delhi Technological University last year in October for a leadership program organized by the Training and Placement department as a part of the Optum Engage series.
Mr. McKoy ventured into technology despite having degrees in Political Science and International affairs ans specializing in Economics. Throughout his tenure, he gathered plenty of experience in management and consultancy, which transformed to his window of opportunity into technology. Having served as the Vice President at Target and a senior manager at Accenture, he now works to integrate the benefits of technology into the healthcare industry.

In this episode, we present Prajya Sharma's interview as a part of our high achievers series. Prajya Sharma, a DTU alumna from the class of 2015, received admits for MBA programs from several prestigious universities like Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). Over the past decade of functioning, we, at DTU Times, realised that carefully curated compact written interviews may not capture the intricacies of the emotion involved in those stories, which is best captured unfiltered.
