This Padma Shree awardee is a commendable nuclear scientist, the founding Vice-Chancellor of Homi Bhabha National Institute, and a member of the atomic energy commission. He served as the Principal Advisor to the strategic planning group in the Department of Atomic Energy and led the Indian side during the negotiations for the Nuclear Deal accompanied by Mr. Anil Kakodkar.

Mr. Gajender is a graduate in mechanical engineering of the class of 1997 from DCE. He joined L&T as a design and development engineer right out of college. He worked at Hitachi and as an associate consultant before pursuing his MBA from NYU Stern and HEC Paris.

In this episode, we dissect the humbling journey of Himanshu Gupta, an electrical engineer from the 2016 batch of Delhi Technological University, who cracked the extremely competitive UPSC examination. He worked at Qualcomm right out of college; but then left his job to pursue the civil services exam - an exam all too infamous for taking years of preparation and grit.

He is currently pursuing his MBA from INSEAD and has 4 years of work experience in different fields such as data analytics, fin-tech, digital payments and e-commerce.

In the fourth episode of the DTU Times Podcast, we present an abundance of nostalgia from Mr. Sanjay Diwan, an Electrical Engineer from the Class of 1981 at DCE. He is a Partner at Positive Momentum and the former President of the DCE-DTU Alumni Association. He is also a founder at Consulting IN and the President at ISB Executive Education Club, Delhi Chapter.

Mr. Sanjay Diwan talks about the life at the Kashmere Gate campus, the legend of Maggi Baba, transitioning from engineering to business and entrepreneurship, building a strong alumni networks, and much more.

In the third episode, we have Mr. Anmol Vishwakarma with us. He is an Environmental Engineering graduate from the DTU's Class of 2016. He completed his Master's degree in Environmental Engineering at Virginia Tech. Mr. Anmol is currently a Ph.D. student in Virginia Tech's Civil Engineering Program. Keep listening, as he talks about his journey from DTU to one of the premier institutes of the world. He passionately walks us through his humbling journey and shares his insights on studying abroad and overcoming hurdles faced by an Indian student in doing so.

In the second episode, we have Mr. Phil McKoy with us. He is the Chief Information Officer at UnitedHealthcare of the UnitedHealthGroup. UHG is the largest healthcare company in the world by revenue, and ranked at number 6 on the Fortune 500 list. He was present at Delhi Technological University last year in October for a leadership program organized by the Training and Placement department as a part of the Optum Engage series.

Mr. McKoy ventured into technology despite having degrees in Political Science and International affairs ans specializing in Economics. Throughout his tenure, he gathered plenty of experience in management and consultancy, which transformed to his window of opportunity into technology. Having served as the Vice President at Target and a senior manager at Accenture, he now works to integrate the benefits of technology into the healthcare industry.

In this episode, we present Prajya Sharma's interview as a part of our high achievers series. Prajya Sharma, a DTU alumna from the class of 2015, received admits for MBA programs from several prestigious universities like Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University). She also received the Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship, which is awarded to only 2 to 3 students in the entire country. 

Prajya Sharma has worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Big 4 consultancy firm as well as Invest India, an organisation registered under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India.
