He’s circumnavigated the world twice (once on the Equator and once on the Arctic Circle--both alone and without motorized vehicles); he’s crossed South America and the entire length of the Amazon river on a hydrospeed, he made a crossing to the North Pole in winter and complete darkness; he’s sailed around the planet for four years on his sailboat Pangaea educating young people about the environment; and he’s scaled four of the world’s 8,000m+ mountains.
