Todayās episode is more of a rant than a planned lessonā¦
But sometimes I like these more. Sometimes I can bring value that I wasnāt even planning on, when I just hit record and let myself talkā¦

It started off with me talking about adding value.
But adding value from the customers or audiences perspective, not our ownā¦
And what I mean by that is, in this episode, I point out that for the last two months Iāve been sharing with my audience how to go live and grow their own audienceā¦
Iāve been sharing the importance of showing up every day and adding value every day, while building relationshipsā¦
But that is because growing relationships is the first step to having a successful funnelā¦
And something that Iāve realized lately, is thatā¦
I subconsciously knew thatā¦
I knew that I should not start off, by teaching people how to build their funnel...
Because if they did, they would have a finished sales funnel ready to go, but they would have nobody to send through it.

Iām moving back to my hometown of San Luis Obispo, to help my Mom take care of my Dad. Heās fighting cancer, and needs all the love and support I can give him. My mom as well, because sheās working overtime to support the familyā¦

159-Your āWHYā Must Be Bigger Than Yourself

Today, we go DEEP, on your āwhyā...
What is your āwhyā for your business?
Do you even know?
And hereās where we get down to the nitty grittyā¦
Is your āwhyā self serving?
When you state your āwhyā out loud, do you hear yourself saying these words with it?ā”ļø āI, My,ā
If you are using these words in your reason for growing your business, itās probably self servingā¦
An common self serving example, that people donāt think is self serving is:
āI would like to grow MY business, so I can provide for MY family more. My loved ones are really important to ME. And IāD like to give MY spouse and kids the life that MY parents never gave ME, when I was growing upā¦ā
This statement used the words I, MY, IāD, & ME 11 TIMES!
This looks like a totally selfless reason. But itās just the oppositeā¦ yes you want to give, but to specific people, because you already love them.. itās all about you and yoursā¦
I heard a wise man once say, that āyou get what you want, by helping others get it..ā
So in this case your āwhyā should say,
ā A lot of YOU are struggling trying to provide the best life that YOU can for YOUR families, and YOUR loved onesā¦ I know there are OTHERS out there with these same business ambitions that I haveā¦ and YOU are only a few steps behindā¦ I love sharing the info that will help YOU solve YOUR problems, and give that best life to YOUR family, that YOU know THEY deserveā¦ā
Do you see how this slight change in perception totally affects the energy of the message you are sharing?
It makes it more attractive, because itās really NOT about YOUā¦
