CL and I became #BFFs our first year at Smith, where we played basketball together (we both eventually stopped playing to pursue other academic interests.) We'll talk about how coming from a family of educators and having three older siblings tied into CL's aspirations. We also unpack a little of what's behind her current teaching philosophy.

I’m talking to the one, the only...JORDAN!!! I met Jordan this past December when we began our Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Fellowships here in Thailand. Jordan was a teacher for two years with Teach for America prior to coming to Thailand, so they bring a breadth of knowledge into their current role as a kru (teacher in Thai) at a technical college in Chonburi, Thailand.

Stella is the type of friend that I always end up getting deep with. After a dinner with Stella in NYC during Fall 2020, the idea of Educate was created. We'll go back to her roots in the Chinese education system and talk about how the rigidity and competition of the system made her the person (and student) that she is today.
