In building Factora, Allegra built the action-oriented, supportive community she wish she had during her own personal finance revolution.

Gabrielle Amado is currently working as a multimedia journalist and anchor for beIN SPORTS in Miami, Florida. She is the anchor of the nationally televised show The Soccer XTRA and was previously the host of the daily digital show Sports Burst and Weekend Winners.

Dr. Bharat Ramakrishna is a clinician-scientist and executive leader with over 10 years’ experience delivering equitable healthcare solutions to underserved populations. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for OpenBiome, a nonprofit stool bank expanding safe access to fecal transplants and catalyzing research on the human microbiome. 

Dr. Ramakrishna has experience in developing novel biotechnology, leading nonprofits and academic research programs, advocating on health policy, and building health systems. He has expertise in Infectious Diseases, Clinical Microbiology, and Public Health. 

Dr. Ilene S. Cohen, Ph.D., is a psychotherapist and author. She is one of the most respected voices in the psychology of people-pleasing and navigating the difficulty of living an intentional life while trying to maintain fulfilling relationships. She is the author of 5 books, including her most famous book, When It’s Never About You, and Anxious for Answers. 

Her books and therapy practice are fueled by a passion for helping people achieve their goals, build a strong sense of self, and lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. 

Valerie DeWitt, RCYT and MTTP Instructor, specializes in both Iyengar and Insight Yoga, which incorporates mindfulness with yoga practice. She has served as a mentor to trainees with YogaKids®, and has facilitated workshops and trainings for teachers, parents, and childcare professionals. Valerie leads children’s mindfulness programs for Mindful Kids Miami and is passionate about bringing mindfulness practices, yoga and meditation to children and adults.

Dr. Lauren Steinman, ND is a naturopathic doctor who focuses on digestive and women's health. She navigates health concerns in ways that incorporate up-to-date lab testing along with natural tools like herbal medicine. With a strong focus on preventative health, Dr. Steinman's training enables her to help both those with chronic health conditions and those hoping to stay ahead of the game with prevention-focused tools. 

Gabriel Sirkman, PsyD  is a licensed psychologist who specializes in psychotherapy and assessment with children, teens, adults, and families.

Dr. Sirkman has worked with clients of all ages, from toddlers to older adults, with diverse diagnoses and life stressors, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, parent-child and peer-based relationship difficulties, grief and loss, divorce and family transitions, disruptive behaviors, learning difficulties, and identity development.

Peggy Gaines, RN, BSN, is a nurse educator who has been practicing meditation for more than 15 years. Peggy is also a Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master and Holy Fire Karuna Master.

In her private practice, Peggy helps clients learn how to use meditation to reduce their stress and recapture their lives, and approaches both meditation and reiki from a scientific mindset.

Della Heiman is the founder and CEO of Miami's Wynwood Yard, Doral Yard, and della bowls. 

Della's desire to make healthy food affordable and accessible to all was the catalyst for della bowls, a globally-inspired, plant-based, fast-casual concept. After testing the concept in Boston, she moved to Miami in 2014 to open the first store. The Wynwood Yard, Miami’s first culinary incubator and community hub, was galvanized by Della’s experience attempting to find a location for della bowls in Miami. The Doral Yard is an expansion of the original Yard.

Daniel Levine, founder of Dasher & Crank--a craft ice cream shop in Miami, FL--is on a mission to spread happiness to his community. 

Since the shop's opening, they have released over 500 unique ice cream flavors collaborating with some of Miami's tops chefs, farmers, and food artisans. In addition to Dasher & Crank, he now also works as the Director of Food & Beverage for Life House Hotels, launching new restaurant and bar concepts across the country.

Molly Bahr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, licensed in both Florida and Hawaii. In her practice, she takes a collaborative and trauma- informed approach with clients so they can heal and live fuller, bigger, more meaningful lives. 

Molly is also a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and practices from a Health At Every Size (HAES) perspective-- a body and weight inclusive model that supports body diversity. HAES aligned providers know that weight is not a good indicator of health and focusing on it is unhelpful and can be harmful.

Monica Auslander Moreno, MS, RDN is the founder of Essence Nutrition, a group private practice in Miami, FL. She conducts private client work while also focusing on Essence’s corporate wellness programming, speaking engagements, non-private client nutrition consulting services, school wellness programming, and marketing. She is the dietitian for the Miami Marlins and is the visiting dietitian specialist at Ocean Reef Resort and Club.

Dr. Emeran Mayer is a gastroenterologist at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is a distinguished research professor within the departments of Medicine, Physiology, and Psychiatry. Dr. Mayer is an expert in the clinical and neurobiological aspects of how the digestive system and nervous system interact in health and disease. 

His current research focuses on the role the gut-brain axis plays in emotion regulation, chronic visceral pain, food addiction and obesity, cognitive decline, and autism spectrum disorders.

Charmel Maynard currently serves as Associate Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, and University Treasurer at the University of Miami. 

He was promoted to his current role as at the age of 32, and remains the youngest chief investment officer and treasurer in Endowments and Foundations. He is one of only six Black chief investment officers in higher education and leads the University's efforts to invest more than $3 billion in assets.

Dr. Sarah Hope Lincoln is an assistant professor of social dysfunction at Case Western Reserve University. We speak to her about mental illness in order to have a better understanding of mental health. 

Her research focuses on individual differences in social functioning and social experiences that increase risk for psychiatric disorders, with an interest in assessing models of social dysfunction as they relate to early identification of emerging psychiatric disorders, particularly young adults.
