7. The Wellbeing Effects of Moving Away
Moving. Something that people don't always talk about in the context of wellbeing, and how it can affect your mental health. I've moved around quite a few times in my life, with the most recent long-distance move from North Yorkshire to Suffolk in 2015. I thought it was incredibly interesting to chat about the effects this has had on my wellbeing, both good and bad, as moving away is an incredibly big change for us as human beings. Especially being a young person too! I felt it especially prevalent to talk about right now as loneliness is a topic that definitely arises from talking about this, and loneliness is something SO MANY of us have felt recently due to Covid-19 and national lockdowns.

5. My Mum | From Non-runner to Marathon Runner Overnight
In this episode I have my very first guest: my Mum! If you didn't already know from listening to My Running Story episode, Mum is one of the main reasons I started running and she's one of my biggest inspirations. In this chat we discuss why she started running (having never ran before!), why the London Marathon in particular is so important to her, how the sport has helped her tackle some challenging life events and improved not only her mental wellbeing but also her physical wellbeing - and lots more. 4. Experiencing Grief, Loss & Feeling Overwhelmed
I didn't expect for this episode to be on the topic of grief & loss, however it's unexpectedly currently something I'm going through. I felt compelled to talk about it and discuss the things that are helping me through this difficult period of time and maybe things you can relate to as well. I also wanted to chat a little about feeling overwhelmed in the world right now, as lockdown restrictions are lifting and everyone's lives are changing - I think a lot of us are feeling overwhelmed!

3. My Running Story | How Running Saved me from an Eating Disorder
In the third episode of Wellbeing with Ell, I finally wanted to share my running story; how I started, why I started, what brought me to the sport + how it essentially saved me from an eating disorder (and other mental health issues). I wanted to be raw, honest and open about what this sport has done for me and how it has helped me since I began in 2014. 2. Lockdown | Mental Health Effects, Running & a Somewhat Positive Chat
In this second episode of Wellbeing with Ell, I wanted to sit down & chat about life during lockdown. I was in two minds whether to talk about it as I am sure we are all tired of it by now, but I wanted to join the conversation in a somewhat positive light and also discuss the mental health effects of lockdown/the whole situation such as paranoia, how eating disorders have been affected, suffering from anxiety and other things. I also chat about running during lockdown, how I've carried on training & I attempt to give some advice on how to get through all of this and ways you could hopefully help your physical and mental wellbeing along the way. *all from my personal experience, I am not a professional !! *
