#018 - Improving digital experiences with audience psychology
On this week’s episode, Graeme is joined by Max Wiggins Insight and Innovation Lead at VERJ, a LAB Group agency. VERJ is a behavioural science agency that is working to improve digital experiences by properly understanding audience psychology. VERJ integrates science, innovation and design to uncover novel insights, solve client problems and develop creative solutions. With a background in cognitive neuroscience and psychology, Max uses his knowledge and expertise in human behaviours to solve commercial problems in digital environments. We sat down with Max to talk about all things computational psychology, the future of behavioural science and next steps, and the work he and the team at VERJ have been doing to protect financially vulnerable adults.

On this week’s episode of Emotion Lab, Dr. Charles Nduka is joined by Dr. Andrew Thompson. Thompson is an expert in the field of youth psychiatry. His primary interest is in prevention or early intervention of first episode psychosis. We discuss the potential of virtual reality to overcome hurdles in social therapy, embody hallucinations and create a safe environment for exposure.
