(Okay, maybe  more than a little) and a very eclectic career.   Nikki is a 3-time Emmy award winning TV host who made her mark as the host Yahoo!’s “Daytime in No Time,” making her the most watched woman on the web with over 700 million clicks during her time there.        In addition to a versatile acting career, Nikki  writes and directs music video parodies for Electus, Yahoo, and AwesomenessTV. Her most recent Taylor Swift parody, “Bad Blood Test” reached a whopping 75 million clicks on her own YouTube Channel.     Before becoming the face of the internet’s most watch daily web show, Nikki was an angel for women everywhere in America as the host of TLC’s popular ambush show “Perfect Proposal,” where she helped men plot how to pop the question.     Between hosting gigs, Nikki maintains an acting career with appearances in Gilmore Girls, Angie Tribeca, 90210, Lie to Me, The L Word, According to Jim, Malcolm in the Middle among others.    She is currently the host of Wondery's new series The Daily Smile where she brings you stories that will make you feel good each weekday morning. Let me tell you about Charlene Charlene Fouts is the Founder of Healing Acres Never Again and Author The storms we experience in life either build or break us. They ultimately forge our character, build our inner strength, and create our foundation in life, as well as our faith in God. Charlene grew up in an abusive environment that carried over into her adult life, experiencing brutal violence in relationships and marriage.   A Flight Attendant for many years, Charlene is now pursuing a Psychology degree from the University of South Florida (USF) and is also in the process of publishing another book called “Never Again, Finding the Silver Linings”. This entails her lifelong journey and healing process of removing layers of pain and shame from my life. Her non-profit organization, Healing Acres Never Again, Inc. was created as a part of healing from her own tragedy and injustices, to walk alongside others experiencing the same traumas that God helped her walk out of.  Today we are going to talk about her book, her non profit and her journey. She co-founded Marked Private LLC and conceived Marked Private’s first engagement platform product, Invite Bandz, physical bands connected to a partygoer’s online party portal. Invite Bandz are available at over 500 retailers, including Amazon and Party City. After working with companies like GameTruck, Bricks for Kidz, and Think Zero she saw the need for small to medium-sized businesses to have access to the same enterprise-level software platforms that large companies have at their disposal to help grow and market their businesses. This passion for making technology accessible to all and helping fellow women-owned businesses lead Denise to develop enCappture, an affordable SaaS mobile application platform that drives customer engagement for companies of all types, no matter the size. Prior to Marked Private, Denise worked as an educator for over ten years in the Briarcliff School District, where due to her passion for technology, she applied for numerous grants to bring technology into the classroom and drove the development of the first school-wide technology curriculum. MEET SARAH MILLER CALDICOTT, COAUTHOR INNOVATE LIKE EDISON
Here is the replay of the original interview with Sarah Miller Caldicott , Co-Author of Innovate Like Edison. "If we all did things we are capable of doing we would literally astound ourselves." That quote by Thomas Edison begins a wonderful journey on his amazing accomplishments as an inventor and more importantly sets the stage for a book filled with a blueprint to help each of us through the process of innovation, Innovate Like Edison: The Success System of America's Greatest Inventor.  Innovate like Edison was co-authored by Sarah Miller Caldicott, g(reat grandniece of Thomas Edison and his second wife Mina Miller Edison) and Michael Gelb the world's leading authority on the application of genius thinking and the author of nearly a dozen books, most notably "How to Think Like Leonardo DaVinci." ABOUT Sarah Miller Caldicott: Sarah has been surrounded by creativity and innovation throughout her life.  When she was seven years old, Sarah learned of her unique relationship to her great great aunt Mina Miller, and Mina's world-famous husband, Thomas Edison.  Curious about why the Edison phonograph and cylindrical records in her home worked so differently from the small plastic record player that spuns and wax LP's, she wondered, "How did they get this way?" Intrigued Sarah went on to learn about the accomplishments of Mina Miller Edison's father Sarahâ's great, great grandfather, Lewis Miller (1829-1899)  an agricultural equipment inventor whose Buckeye Mower & Reaper dramatically improved the productivity of American farmers in the 1850's and beyond, later inspiring development of the modern Combine Harvester.  A recipient of 92 patents, Lewis Miller was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006, and co-founded the Chautauqua Institution in Chautauqua, New York in 1874  a place Sarah and her family still visit every year. Sarah received her MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business, and began her 20-year career as a Marketing executive with brand-driven firms including Pepsico and Unilever. For 12 years, Sarah spearheaded domestic and international rollouts of mass brands including Cycle, Suave, Salon Selectives, and Degree.Desiring to pursue more entrepreneurial projects, in 1998, Sarah established StarWave Associates, a strategic marketing and branding consultancy assisting CEO's and business owners in transforming the growth of their brands. StarWave clients have included DHL Global Mail, Cox Enterprises, Andrx Pharmaceuticals, Shay Financial Services, and Lucent, as well as numerous entrepreneurial firms.'' Sarah spoke to audiences across the country, and leads executive seminars on how to embed Edison's Five Competencies of Innovation in their organizations.'  These competencies propelled Edison to generate a record-breaking 1,093 US patents and 1,293 international patents over 62 successive years. In this session, Sarah shared her Five tips for jump starting your invention prowess and getting the creative juices flowing, give an overview of some of the five competencies as well as other innovative practices. Note: Since this interview was first broadcast, Sarah passed away. She was 59 - (1957 to 2017). The world has lost a gifted and beautiful soul.

Meet Valorie Hubbard – Actor’s Fast Track
Valorie Hubbard has forged a career on Broadway, in television, and in Hollywood movies by being pragmatic, dedicated, and entrepreneurial. Now she helps other actors do the same with Actor’s Fast Track. Working closely with each individual she coaches, Valorie helps them to develop personal brand and create a customized plan of action to reach those goals and dreams. Valorie started acting at the age of 3 when she dramatically threw herself down a staircase. When her mother discovered she was still alive she enrolled her in creative dramatics class where she has been acting ever since. She attended The Goodman School of Drama and migrated to New York where she spent the next 20 years. Valorie’s acting accomplishments span stage, film, and television. A few film and television credits from her 30-year career include: RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, GLEE, TRUE BLOOD, AGENTS OF SHIELD, CASTLE. Her theatre experience includes Grotowski’s Lab Theatre in Poland, roles on Broadway and off-Broadway, and work with theater-greats like John Guare, Christopher Durang, Peter Brook, and Joe Chaiken. Valorie first began helping actors in her work with former partner Lea Brandenburg through their company Strategies; the two co-authored the text book The Actor’s Workbook. Born and raised in Cali, Colombia, Gilda Rosenberg studied and graduated from Wellesley College in New England. Immediately after she graduated, Gilda chased a vision of business ownership. Gina began her career online in 1996 after a disabling car accident left her unable to continue her career as a litigator. When the accident left her unable to get out of a hospital bed or wheelchair for almost 10 years, she turned to the internet as a way to fill her days and afford her mounting medical bills. She’s been full time online ever since! As a JV Broker, Gina often saw millions of dollars being left on the table, over and over again by her clients who refused to listen to her advice … These clients wanted the immediate gratification that a Joint Venture Product Launch could bring, and weren’t interested in doing things the RIGHT way to build a business that would be successful for the long haul if it meant that it would take longer to bring in big dollars. Gina’s JV’s would bring in millions in a short period of time (often in less than a week!), but a year later, profits from the promotion would be long gone, and Gina’s client would be left wondering where the next dollars were coming from. This usually meant creating yet another new product, and a new product launch. After having worked long and hard on the first product, most clients just didn’t want to have to create yet another. This not only limited the client’s income, it limited Gina’s as well! In 2007, Gina’s health had declined to the point that doctors gave her only 12 to 18 months to live. That’s why she hit the road in an RV to see the country before she died. But 6 months later, a massage therapist gaver her a piece of advice that forever changed her life. Not only did it allow her to live, Gina completely recovered! Gina calls this her “miraculous transformation”. She feels that she has been given a huge gift — a second chance at life!
