Arya and Milan discuss the importance of understanding why climate change remains an existential threat to our society. We go over the problems it poses towards the future development of society, but also methods and ways we can take to reduce the threat of climate change. These include recycling methods, saving water, and other measures. Listen in and learn what you can do in your position to solve climate change, one person at a time. 

Listen in as Arya and Nikhil tackle ways to stay involved during the school year via community service activities. They discuss their personal involvements including service-based involvement through Lyceum Village, Someone Cares Soup Kitchen, Anaheim Public Library, and Artis College App. 

Being politically involved in some way is extremely important in an indirect democracy such as the United States. We vote elected leaders into office because we trust them to enact policies that will benefit our society in some way, whether that be for better roads/bridges, a stronger public education system, or nonrenewable resource taxing to increase ecologically sustainable practices. Listen in as we talk about the importance of holding on to your vote and using it wisely. Remember, every vote counts!

Boss (Kiettisak) Mithpasong talks about his origin story upon entering the United States. A nine-year-old Laotian boy, he must tackle language barriers and cope with the changing cultural landscape around him. Listen in as he tells us his story, from 4th grade to senior year of high school. 

Listen in as Arya and Milan tackle the issue of food insecurity in society. We discuss several community organizations including Orange County Food Bank and other ways to get involved. Every year, several children and families go starving across different communities. It is vital that we talk about these issues so some actionable change can occur. 

Listen is as Arya and Milan discuss the reignition of the #BlackLivesMatter movement across the United States and the world, starting with the death of George Floyd. Not only do they talk about the protests and politics of the movement, but also the importance of addressing societal issues of racism and race, and the discrimination faced by African Americans. They also touch on how the public education system can inform students about racial equality, and promote the school classroom as a safe space for expressing differing viewpoints. 

Given our current situation, participating in a wide breadth of extracurricular activities is a challenging task for many high school students. Tune in as Arya & Milan tackle this issue by discussing where students can find unique opportunities such as club participation, internships in different industries, involvement in art/music, and athletics.
