Chester Bennington was my hero. Bear with me if you assume this is going to a vapid celebrity obsession piece (even if it were, everyone has a right to do and feel whatever they like when it comes to celebrities!).
No, this is a difficult and very important subject for me, as this particular celebrity, and his death, were particularly important and difficult for me.
This week I discuss Chester Bennington's suicide and my own personal tribute to him in regards to my self harm.

Welcome back to Exercising Depression Podcast!
I thought it was high time I spoke a bit more exercise and training; I started my Podcast as a Mental Health & Fitness podcast and I intend to talk a little more about the fitness side of it. I have been a little overwhelmed as of late with the Mental Health side and things I have to deal with everyday, talking about my change in training is going to like a little mental health holiday!

30. Who Am I? BPD Problems and Loneliness
Content Warning: OCD, BPD, loneliness, medication and crying.
I'm struggling at the moment. Dealing with certain facets of Borderline Personality Disorder and OCD has exhausted me and I'm emotionally wrung out. Sorry, I get a bit emotional near the end, you have been warned. Being in lockdown is hard on everyone, I know. For some reason being confined to my home has amped up my normally controlled and "mild" OCD, I can't remember how to deal with it on a daily basis and it's causing some stress. I've been feeling increasingly lonely and I miss my family so much.

24. My Weight and Me
This has the potential to be a triggering and controversial topic, but please don't assume the worst in me for talking about my weight. All my opinions about weight gain/loss/in general are all to do with me, my experiences and my opinions and perceived worth of myself, no one else. Me. Just me. If you are going to come at me citing prejudice etc then that is entirely your issue and not mine. I'm sorry, but not that sorry,
Today I discuss a topic that is hard for me to discuss and one I have had issues with my entire adult life; my weight,
23. The Job I Didn't Get
Sorry, Spoiler? Ah, nevermind!
Welcome back to the Exercising Depression podcast, this week I talk about a job interview I had at the beginning of the week. It was something that came out of the blue a bit for me, I've not been looking for an extra job (I LOVE my job!) but it was an opportunity that popped up and i thought I was give it a go. I haven't had a formal job interview for MANY years, so this week I tell you how the interview itself went, the outcome and how it's all made me feel.

18. Why Do I Lift?
This week I discuss my reasons for starting weight training.
I started weight training around June 2019, it's something I have found real joy in and some incredible mental health benefits. Feeling strong has never been a familiar feeling to me, it's quite alien but I am learning to feel it with real achievement and it's helping me every day.
Exercising Depression started as (and continues to be) a podcast in June 2019 and now, in January 2020 i decided to record them as vlogs alongside the podcast. This is to hopefully reach a wider audience in my mission to tackle to stigma surrounding mental health, by having frequent, open and honest conversations about living with mental health problems every day. Whether the conversations are between myself and you guys, or special guests, let's work together to lift the stigma,d make talking about mental health normal. Please feel free to contact me!

Kinda something a little different; I'm putting on some makeup (to go food shopping whoo!) and decided to chat with you guys whilst I did it. I'm still figuring out my setup and trying out what best audio quality I can get with my new doodad (Zoom H4n Pro) so bear with me!

13. A Conversation with Richard the Vicar
This episode I sit down with good friend and Vicar Richard, who is the vicar of the church I attend and has been for the past 10 years.
We discuss his role and how he has experienced his own mental health in regards to his job but also having to be a guide and counsellor to others.
We have a lovely, relaxed conversation in his home with coffee and cake!

We have a conversation about our relationship in regards to my mental health problems and diagnoses, from when we started dating to long distance issues and our marriage. Plus our cat makes a debut and purrs sporadically into the mic!
