Brother Bicker Band out of Alberta Canada has released their latest album "Another Kind of Train". The band features Matt Dawe on drums, Jim Duncan on bass, Jeremy Hrdlicka on vocals and acoustic guitar, Tom Mogan on guitar and vocals, Ben Ellard on keys and newcomers, Jennele Coulson and Claire Wilkes on vocals.

Jeremy joins me to talk about the origins of the band, the new album, his dream venue to play at and a lot more.

Sonic X music has evolved from guitar driven riffs to include layers of instrumentation that adds colour and depth to the songs. The new direction has the songs becoming even more memorable, melodic and accessible to a wider audience of music lovers.

Sonic X formed in 2004 when they released their self-titled debut CD on Z Records. In 2007 Sonic X released their follow up CD titled “THIRTEEN” on Chavis Records. In 2015 Sonic X released their most popular effort, the 4 song EP titled “Fall from Grace”.  Sonic X then released a new 5 song EP titled “Fly Around the World” on November 2019. Sonic X just released their new album titled SONIC XIV in July 2023. Members of the band are Sil Simone, Adam Troy, Joey Greco and Joseph Cumbo

A trailblazer for women in rock, and known as the goddess of rock and blues, Jaime Kyle has had an immeasurable amount of success over her years in the industry

Jaime learned to be scrappy and creative. When she was missing a musician for a Nashville session, she scoped out local bar bands and hired a bass player on the spot for a midnight session. The chain of events led to Nancy Wilson of Heart recording Jaime’s song “Stranded.” The word “no” was never an option. When a record executive listened to a demo tape of “Wild One” and threw it down the hall, Jaime didn’t miss a beat. She picked up the broken tape, fixed it, and the demo found its way to Faith Hill. The rest is history.

Ian Abel Band is a Louisville, Kentucky based rock outfit fronted by international award winning guitarist Ian Abel originally from Louisville KY, and made up of accomplished studio and touring musicians.

In June 2023, Ian Abel Band’s song, Outlaw, received a nomination for a HIMA for best song in the Americana/Roots category. The Hollywood Independent Music Awards, an affiliate of the HMMA’s, will have their ceremony on August 17th, 2023 at the Avalon Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

Ian talks about the nomination, his start in music and much more.

Last Planet formed in 2018 by Cort Young and Albero Berul, two songwriting musicians who met while working at Guitar Center in San Francisco. The band rapidly grew to a dynamic band of six, rocking Bay Area venues and releasing a debut EP, Petrichor. 

The addition of Rai Ahmed-Green as lead female vocalist and co-songwriter brought a sultry infusion of Soul and R&B. Mixing raw and processed elements, Last Planet found their signature sound: soulful vocals over modern rock.

Kendra Erika out of Boca Raton FL now currently living in Los Angeles is a singer/songwriter, model and actress. Several of her songs have appeared on Billboard's Dance Club charts including hitting #1 with her 2019 remake of the Laura Branigan hit "Self-Control". During this interview she talks about her latest singles "Thriller Killer", "Back For More" and her cover of the Frank Sinatra hit "Witchcraft". Kendra also talks about her golf game, and her current work on an upcoming movie.

_ECHOSEVEN is a Female Fronted Hard/Active Rock Alt Metal Post Grunge group based in New Brunswick, Canada.

After a tentative start in 2016 as a music “project” of drummer Allon McCall and guitarist Justin Larracey, the guys got serious about their music in 2019 and began recruiting more members. By early 2020 their lineup was complete.

Dallas Dwight from The L.A. Maybe joins me to discuss the groups album Dirty Damn Tricks.  The L.A. Maybe has toured internationally and played the famed Whiskey A Go Go I Los Angles. They won the Kiss Kruise XI Soundcheck competition, securing a coveted slot on the boat supporting the group Kiss.

They have also opened for Black Label Society, Steel Panther, Buckcherry, Sebastian Bach, Powerman 5000, and many others.

The group released the album Dirty Damn Tricks and a deluxe edition of Dirty Damn Tricks containing 6 bonus tracks.

Robert James from Silent Theory joins the program to talk about the group's EP "Theoretically Speaking: The Acoustic Session Volume 1," working with Josey Scott of Saliva fame, and much more.

New Zealand based Capital Theatre is made up of Paul Reid on drums, Roy Oliver on guitar, and Adam Stevenson on vocals.  The group released the album "A Hero's Journey" in 2022, a 10 song concept album produced by Grammy winner Mike Clink. The guys join me to talk about the album, their work on a follow up album and much more. 

Marshall Potts is a singer/songwriter out of Kamloops B.C.  His crossover writing style has found acceptance in the Americana, Country Rock, and Rock formats.  His current album "The Storm" was released in March of 2022, this is his third album to date.  

Alaura Lovelight is an American R&B recording artist and performer. Based out of New York City, Alaura has performed all over the US as well as worked alongside Grammy award winning producers

Alaura trained classically on the piano for over 25 years and studied music composition professionally at The University of Northwestern.

In 2018 she founded the You Matter Movement to use music to empower and inspire the youth and has since worked with hundreds of youth through after school music empowerment programs, teen empowerment workshops, and individual music lessons for songwriting and performance.

She released the single "Eroticy" in 2021, and is working on an album for potential release late 2022 or early 2023.

Andrew Salgado is a Nashville based singer/songwriter with Chicago roots.  He has co-written with the likes of Brian Wilson and Kacey Musgrave, has opened for such stars as Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Eli Young Band, Clint Black and others.  

Andrew released his 3rd album and first vinyl record "86 Vol 2 - Autumn Dawn" in April of 2022.

During the interview Andrew talks about scheduling a tour, working on the new album during the pandemic, what he learned opening for the big acts he has opened for.  

Eliza Neals, a Detroit born blues-rock star on the rise honors the gut-wrenching soul splitting intent the American roots of contemporary blues represents.  Eliza's album "Black Crow Moan"was a Top Album of 2020" after landing on many "best of" lists. 

Eliza has received several nominations and has won numerous Detroit Music Awards over the years.  Her latest album is "Badder To The Bone"

Bailey James has released over 16 singles and an EP since she was 12 years old.

Bailey, a road warrior, has charted numerous times on Music Row's Country Breakout Chart including a Top 40.  She is also a Golden Ticket alum of American Idol 2019.

Her current single "The Crow" is a song dedicated to her late brother Zane.

Dusty Grant is an independent singer/songwriter based out of Wichita, KS. Grant has been writing, recording, and performing original music in bands and as a solo artist for over 20 years.  He joins me to discuss his single "Oceans" and much more.
