Will is a touring, opener, middle comic. When I did open mics for a brief time I would see him around and he would kill at the open mics which isn't something people do. Frank is one of the nicest guys I've met in comedy. I still don't know what project we worked on together. Maybe we didn't work on anything at all. Maybe we just chopped it up at the store for a bit and I flagged him as a dude I would love to work with. Either way this is a great episode about comedy. Have fun don't get hurt.

Dude it was cute as fuck how I met Ben. We were friends on Vine. I knew he lived in Long Beach, CA, so when I was there I had him meet up. I felt like I was going on a date. Two dudes who wanted to see if we can get along. We've been pretty damn tight friends since. Ben is a comedy writer who is a more than successful stock trader. This episode we were out bar hopping and decided to jump in the studio to have some fun. Part 2 of the episode is about how ben went from one thousand dollars to two million dollars playing the stock market. Please enjoy two real people talking. No mannequin.

You may know Mike from opening for Chris D'elia. Mike is a dude that I have probably seen grow the most as an artist in my life. I know... bold, but it's because he went from bad to really good. Usually with artists (no matter the art) have some sort of something in the beginning. I am no judge and jury, but when I first saw him I wasn't even sure I was watching comedy. Now? He murders rooms. It is very fucking rare to see someone make this transition and I am super inspired how he created such a good act. Obviously if you have seen him perform you know.

It's rare you meet someone just.... fucking kind. Funny AND kind. That's something idk really how to do. I have to be making fun of myself or someone or something. Jason can just kinda be a funny person. That's what being a god damn comic is. Just funny pouring in between the cracks of your jokes. I've seen Jason around the comedy scene for years since 2011/2012 around there. I remember one time he had seen a short film of mine somehow and complimented me on it and then offered me a chair to sit with his friends. It's weird how that shit goes a long way. Most of the time I'm a very dick jokey idiot that enjoys duding it up but the other times that are not most of the time I enjoy being smart (or at least feeling like I am smart). Myq Kaplan is someone who you just HAVE to keep up with in his intellect pacing or at least I have to. He's so god damn intelligent and I expected nothing less after experiencing his comedy for the last couple years. Ever see the Richard Linklater movie 'Waking life'? Morgan and I have worked on a lot of music videos together. I first met Morgan while shooting an event at some store in West Hollywood. He was one of the sales people and seemed like a really fun rad dude. I would go back and stop by while he was working just to hang with him and buy nothing. He ended up going on to start a creative agency that I worked with for years and we continue to be friends. I hope to work with him... no, I'm certain i will work with him in the future.   We talk about how scientologists live in his house, how he is NOT Morgan Freeman and his new radio show. I should start by saying this never happens... I'm not only talking about the story but the format. At the moment this is a FaceTime podcast, but for this week (my week off) I still did one. There is no mannequin, there's barely a conversation. I just tell a story about how a second date went wrong... really fucking wrong... I had to call the cops on her. Careful out there kids. Back to mannequin scheduling next week.

Instagram is cool... sometimes you follow a new up and coming band, sometimes you follow an up and coming comedian and sometimes you follow an up and coming model/actress. What is super badass about instagram is you get to see their progression. It's like being on the same team as them. A follow signifying "Hey I'm rooting for you" and I have been rooting for Marta since the follow. Super fucken rad that she is now in a movie called, "The Binge" on Hulu. I don't hope, I know she will be in blockbusters to come. Enjoy our conversations about poop and throw up.

Jordan and I had more in common than I thought. You'll see that we both still love Blink 182, we both write backwards from the title, and we both sold out Tom DeLonge custom stratocaster. Jordan wrote a movie called, "The Binge" that you can see now on Hulu. It stars Vince Vaughn, Skyler Gisondo, Dexter Darden, Eduardo Franco and more. With a very solid debut movie release we talked about his writing process, how he started, how he got 'discovered' (which is a crazy story) and believe it or not... Spielberg. I've gotta apologize to Aristotle. No... you know what? I don't apologize. I was going to apologize for being manic, but fuck it dude. Feeling shit is sick. Anyway this isn't about me it's about my guest Aristotle Athiras who not only is great at stand up and actor but also a very talented director. His last gig before the big Q was Will Smith's (Maybe you've heard of him) show on snap chat titled, "Will from home". His directing and acting life always having a duel front seat in his life he worked with Mike Judge on HBO's "Silicon Valley". With overnight TikTok fame, Ali has now fans all over the world. Ali's impressions have been seen by millions and we talk about the difference between viral and successful. "Show business" is tough to break into, but we might not need "show business" anymore. Now "show business" needs us. Ali discusses his impressions, his compassion and how he was almost cast as, "Aladdin".

I fucking love hustlers. People that are on FIRE for their art. It's a force you can feed off of. Brandon Dermer is a god damn hustler. This episode we share stories about "Donnie Darko", Paul Rudd and more into Brandon's directing process. Really at a point were two filmmakers sharing embarrassing hollywood stories. It's a fine thing living in Hollywood and seeing friends progress in the entertainment iNdUsTrY. It's almost like necessary proof that it's possible. Jade has always been a famous person in my eyes. I cant exactly put my finger on why, but she does. Pay attention to how fucking humble she is too. When you get famous stay this humble. Super proud of her and her new gig which is the host of 'The Soup' on E!. She's fucking hilarious on it and for my money she is also the best dressed host on TV. For real check those fits.

The first time I saw Khalyla was through Bobby Lee's phone. Bobby was showing me his new girlfriend and telling me how excited he was to wrap what we were filming and go back to her. About a year or so later they start a podcast called, "Tigerbelly". Now Tigerbelly is a HUGE podcast that I am a fan of. Since they started the podcast and relationship I've experienced nothing but kindness and accomodation from Khalyla and Bobby. Khalyla and I talk about hoes, religion, and she kinda drops a bomb on me about one of my ex-girlfriends. Whatever. I'm not worried about it... at all.

Rob has a shit ton to say about fake martial arts and his pursuit of ridding the world of it. We cover his past of being bullied, learning to fight, the thin line between religion, cult and brazilian jiu jitsu. His IG is fucking hilarious. I first was aware of Craig from a sketch I was hired to edit. Anything funny in the sketch was what Craig said or did. He effortlessly stole the sketch and extracted your laughter. MP's presence is addictive. I think that's what makes his film work so unique. When we were speaking I felt myself just wanting to hang and feel my worries lessen one by one. During this episode I felt my blood pressure lower and my knowledge of free process heighten. MP is a true artist and someone to look out for. His show on the new streaming platform, Quibi called, "Agua Donkeys" isn't one to miss. 

Iddo Goldberg - an actor/writer/director/photographer/David Schwimmer's friend. Iddo and Jon talk about photography, directing music videos, being handsome (which we are the equal amount of), smoking cigarettes and his new TV show spun off of Bong Joon-Ho's movie, "Snowpiercer". Are y'all out there getting strange ass rn? Well boys and girls, it may not be the time for that. It's "Phase 1" which means shits opening back up WHICH MEANS people are going to start to feel comfortable to date again. Cora Boyd and I talk about dating post COVID. One night stands might be obsolete, no-kissing sex might be a new thing or glory holes might come into fashion... we discuss all of these possibilities and what she thinks a single person should expect when getting back out there. 

Jon Laster is an insanely talented comedian, he's an actor, he's a writer and he's also a black man in America. Comedians are going to deal with #blacklivesmatter in different ways. Some are going to keep on with the funny, some are going to declare zero stance to not lose fan base, and some are going to make themselves vulnerable and share their experiences. Jon posted a very moving story on his instagram May 31st, 2020 and it went viral. People gravitated to his stories and started sharing their stories. These stories helped me see much more of what I have been BLIND to. I hope that this helps other see as it has helped me.

GaTa is a hype man. He's done it for rappers and it is clear it's also how he lives his life. Most recently GaTa gave a KILLER performance on, "Dave" on Hulu (or FXX). I spoke to him as an actor, rapper, hype man and member of the black lives matter community. It's assuring talking to someone who has lived a "rockstar" life and still does, but he knows himself well enough to stay grounded and professional. In a time of absolute fuckness I wanted to talk to someone who is undoubtedly on earth to simply spread positivity. GaTa is warm, talented and loves ninja turtles.
