Redemption Road
In this episode, Katie and Mai interview Dr. Liz Franks about the collision of two of her passions: Crossfit and prison reform. Liz is a Board member of Redemption Road Fitness Foundation (RF2), which is a non-profit organization that works with athlete-inmates in select state penitentiaries to provide exercise-based personal rehabilitation. The partnership between "insiders" and "outsiders" is one of support, penance, commitment, and competition. This is a story generally of rehabilitation and specifically of redemption.
