Ep #5 Premier League Predictions 2020/2021
Welcome to another "F is for Football" episode!
Now that the transfer market is closed, we predict how we believe the Premier League table is gonna shape up. We discuss the big 6 teams - Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspurs and Arsenal - in detail and also touch on potential contenders for the top 6 (Everton, Liecester, Leeds, Wolves). We also make other predictions for the season such as signing of the season, flop of the season, top scorer and more; followed by some discussions on Project Big Picture.
The initial plan was to cover the entire European top 5 leagues with our special guest, B, but due to time constraints we decided to turn our prediction special into a 2-parter - so make sure to tune in for part 2 for discussions on La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League.

Episode #4 The Mamluk Sultanate of Cairo
On this week’s “F is for… Freakin Medieval History Baby” episode, we embark on a historical adventure examining the formation of the Mamluk Sultanate (1240-1277). We learn about the Ayyubids and Shajar Al-Durr, Aybak, Qutuz and Baibars. We also get a glimpse of the different political factions they interact with during this time; such as the Crusaders, the Mongols, the Abbasid Caliphate, and more. It is a true story filled with plot twists, betrayal, drama, and many epic military events that you may have heard of like the Seventh Crusade (1248), the sack of Baghdad (1258) and the Battle of Ayn Jalut (1260).
Then in our “Top of the Week” segment, we rank our favourite movies and tv shows that we have binged since lockdown.

#2 The Evolution of Football Tactics
Welcome to our second episode of the FFS show!
Today's "F is for Football" episode is about how football tactics have evolved from the late 1950s to the early 90s. From Nereo Rocco and Helenio Herrera’s Catenaccio, Johan Cruyff and total football, the English "pass and move" of Bob Paisley and Brian Clough, Giocco All'Italiana and the Trequartista of Juventus and Maradonna's Napoli, all the way to Arrigo Sacchi's high pressing, zonal marking 4-4-2 with a legendary team that featured Van Basten, Guillit, Frank Rijkard, Paolo Maldini and Carlo Ancelotti. If you're a fan of football tactics - or just football in general - you're really gonna enjoy this one!
Also for our Top of the Week segment we make our top 6 predictions for the Premier League this season.
