33. An honest conversation about Goals

In today’s episode we’re discussing our goals, or as Tia likes to phrase it, “manifestations”, both personal and business. While reflecting on childhood experiences and how they are shaping our ambitions as we mature. We also discuss the concept of long-term goals and how effective they are in a forever evolving world.
Let us know your current goals in the comments below! Peace and Love Fika Gang ✌🏼💙 #fikabrunchandbusiness #fikapodcast #entreprenuerpodcast

29. Naming our London Cafe
Welcome back to another episode of the Fika Brunch & Business podcast, this time we’re coming to you from Fika Woolfox! In this week’s episode Tia apologises for her sleep deprived behaviour, as well as filling us in on her recent trip to Crete - nearly in chef trousers (you don’t want to miss this story)! Along with Ivo reminiscing on his salsa dancing days and giving us a bakery update.
Make sure you stay tuned to the end for the inside scoop on some very exciting London updates and even a name reveal - yes it’s another cafe, but we’re leaving Fika in Rutland 👀 any die-hard Fika fans don’t wanna miss out on this inside tea, stay tuned for more updates!

28. Advice to our younger selves
Welcome back to another episode of the Fika Brunch and Business Podcast, this time around some of us are on holiday (we work hard we deserve it) but that didn't hinder our commitment to bringing you a new episode every week!
This week we're having a candid conversation with the younger versions of Ivo and Tia. Now that we're older (and hopefully wiser), we like to think we've learnt a thing or two about the world and ourselves.
If there are any young Tias and Ivos out there, this is a good one to listen to.
Peace and Love Fika gang ✌🏼💙
27. The odds are against us!
Welcome back to another episode of the Fika Brunch & Business Podcast, this time in a slightly different format. Some may argue it’s not a traditional podcast, but there are no rules round here!
This week we touched on microphone mishaps (the reason behind the brief episode) updates on our current whereabouts and celebrating the Fika team!
Bear with us while we navigate a couple of busy weeks, we’ll be back in our new podcast studio in no time (the time it takes Ivo to fix the microphone issues)!
Peace and Love Fika gang ✌🏼💙
26. Struggles as a growing business
Welcome back everyone to the Fika Brunch & Business podcast, we’re staying consistent as promised and back in the OG Stamford location! This week we’re discussing the struggles we’re currently facing as the business expands. As we look to grow and take on new ventures, it’s becoming very apparent that most banks require your first born child in return of a minimal loan - something we didn’t expect after being in the business for a few years now! Further struggles consist of staffing issues - where are all the chefs at and why it appears to have become a tainted craft. We also avoid trying to get too political, but we can’t help but blame financial anxieties and uncertainties as a business on the current economic status of the UK.
As well as giving you guys behind the scenes insights into where we’re at and any current Fika/ London related updates! A truly transparent episode, hope you enjoy.
Peace and Love Fika gang ✌🏼💙
25. Cool or Not Cool?
Welcome back to the Fika Brunch & Business podcast peeps, this time we’re back filming in London with our third wheel. This weeks episode is on a bit of a lighter note with a game of “cool or not” where we rate a list of random items/ concepts against our definition of “cool”.
Disclaimer: this is a completely light hearted game in which we mean to cause no offence to Croc wearing, Fiat 500 driving, Jordan loving, mullet headed pornstar martini lovers!
Let us know your opinions of our cool or not verdicts in the comments below!
Peace and Love Fika gang ✌🏼💙

22. Our most honest conversation so far
Welcome back to the Fika Brunch and Business podcast peeps!
This week we got real, raw and deep real quick - we delved into our Annual Clash and worked through our disagreements as business partners in real time. We also talked about our differences as people and how we’re learning to accept that it’s okay that we don’t want to head in the same direction in life and that wanting to do our own thing doesn’t make us any less solid of a partnership in Fika than before.
We hope you enjoy the TRUE BTS we provide here, and as always we’d love ahh feedback or ideas for future podcasts!
Peace & love Fika gang💙⚡️
21. Going From A Small Business To Fully-Fledged Company
Welcome back to our podcast! We know it's been a minute but we're not even going to make excuses this time...
Over the past few months, we've been working hard behind the scenes. It feels like we've crossed a barrier - and that is transitioning from a small business to a fully-fledged company. In this video, we discuss what it has taken to do that, as well as covering many other topics such as the stigma around success.
We hope you enjoyed this, we loved being back behind the mics and will hopefully, with a bit of luck and successful organisation, be doing it a lot more often!

British Idioms, snacks and an all round good chuckle
We feel that we’ve been discussing heavier, deeper and more serious topics recently so we thought it was time to lighten the mood with this one. We asked Caitlin and Laura, both Fika gals at heart, to join us and to lead the way. We went in blind and it’s fair to say there were many surprises along the way! We talked British idioms that have caught Ivo and Tia out before, tried some quintessentially British snacks and overall had a great time. Hope you enjoy this slightly more lighthearted episode as much as we enjoyed recording it and we’ll be back to talking about brunch and business next time!💙✌🏽
