Desert Island DVDs - Episode 18 with Ian Wilson
On this Episode we were joined by Lecturer & Editor Ian Wilson
The podcast is simple - We ask our guests to pick 6 movies to keep them company on their Desert Island alone.
The first 3 picks are three favourite films of all time which can keep you company in your isolation.
However, the other 3 films you pick have to fit some criteria.
The Tommy Wiseau pick
Pick a film which is critically panned, a film which most people hate but you love. This is a chance to change people's minds and convince them it is a great movie.
The Barry Jenkins pick
Barry Jenkins makes beautifully sad films which make us cry. But what film could you screen which would make most of the audience cry at your cinema?
The Party Pick
A communal affair. Choose something that will make the audience feel good when they go back to their own island.
