And while that alone is pretty heavy, it is also coinciding with year four of Mikey's month long Back to the Future celebration, Marchy McFly. The stars truly are aligned on this one. So why don't you make like a tree - and listen.
Se7en (1995)
There are seven deadly sins. But, there is only one deadly podcast. The boys are back and killing it (get it) once again as Chris, Mikey & Dave talk about the 1995 David Fincher rom-com "Se7en". What they've done in this episode is going to be puzzled over and studied and followed - forever.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969)
Who are those guys? Well, they're the same three podcasters you've been riding along side for years! Poddersville VIII: “It’s A Wonderful Movie”
Merry Christmas everybody! Welcome back to another "Poddersville" special (Pottersville + Podcast - get it!?) Chris, Mikey, and Dave are back one more time this year to keep the tradition alive and celebrate the movie that started it all for this podcast, "It's a Wonderful Life!" A big thank you to everyone who has listened to another year of us talking movies and making fun of each other. We look forward to doing it again for another year. See you in 2024!
A Christmas Story (1983)
I triple-dog dare you not to listen to this episode. Chris, Dave, and Mikey are back covering one more Christmas movie this year as they go back and talk about a movie that just turned 40 years old! A movie that at some point in time during your Christmas day will be on at least one television - yes we're talking about the THE Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story" from 1983 (crazy that 1983 is 40 years ago, but that's now math works).

Daddy's Home 2 (2017)
Happy Holiday's movie fans! The boys are back in the Christmas mood as we discuss a favorite of our hosts - a movie that you're probably thinking, "Wait, is this right?" A movie that you may not even realize is a Christmas movie. Yes that's right, Chris, Mikey and Dave are back to discuss the 2017 Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg family comedy, "Daddy's Home 2."
And much like this sequel expands its cast of characters, this podcast is expanding its cast as for the first time ever on the show we can say that the Morris trifecta is complete as we welcome Chris' eldest brother Jon to the show!
And no, he didn't crash the show - he had an invitation and he brought it with him as proof.
The Hunt for Red October (1990)
Happy Thanksgiving Week, Cranberry Sauce fans! See? It's red. So it works. Although we left the month of October behind, we still thought it would be a good time to talk about October - or at least an October - as we discuss the 1990 film, The Hunt for Red October.
As the Dave, Chris, Mikey and the rest of America get ready to celebrate and give thanks on this Thursday (aka, eating and watching football), a certain sub captain (with an incredible wig) was very thankful that a certain CIA agent (with incredible hair) figured out that all the captain wanted to do was....eat and watch football on Thursday.
Welcome to America, Captain Ramius.
Scream (1996)
Happy Halloween, lovers! Do you like scary movies!? We sure hope you do! As we come to the end of another Spooky Season, David, Chris & Mikey wanted to give you one last treat as they talk about the 1996 Wes Craven classic, Scream. So put in your earbuds and listen while your kids go from door to door getting candy you're going to steal later.
Save us some peanut butter cups please.
Barbarian (2022)

This movie is available on MAX right now if you haven't seen it - and believe me, if you haven't do NOT listen to this until you do. The less you know about this movie the better. Don't worry, we'll be here when you're done.
Pee-wee's Big Adventure (1985)
Let's begin, shall we? Ladies and Gentlemen, your favorite podcasters are back and FINALLY Dave and Mikey have worn Chris down and he finally approved our application to do a podcast talking about the CLASSIC Pee-wee's Big Adventure from 1985. This podcast is the story of two men wearing down a third man into hopefully appreciating how great of a movie this really is....I love that story.
RIP Paul Reubens.
Nightcrawler (2014)
A wise man once said, "A friend is a gift you give yourself" and we are lucky enough to have all of you as our very, close, personal friends. Too much? Well, anywhere we do have a gift for you! A new episode! Chris, Mikey and Dave are back to talk about quite possibly Jake Gyllenhaal's greatest performance in the Dan Gilroy's Nightcrawler from 2014. We had to hurry because Dave was leaving the country, but we think we think we put together a winning episode, and hey if you want to win the lottery, you have to make the money to buy the ticket....Again, too much?
Night Shift (1982)
What are we really talking about here? Huh? What's the essence of what we're talking about? Spell it out for you if I have to. "Pod" - based on the iPod which used to be a thing, and "Cast" based on the fact that this is broadcasting all over the globe to the millions of our listeners. And for you, Chris, Dave and Mikey are here to talk about the 1982 Ron Howard directed, Michael Keaton and Henry Winkler starring, Night Shift. If you know the movie, the opening of this summary makes sense. Hilarious sense.
Good Will Hunting (1997)
Do you like podcasts? Well, we gotta new episode for ya about Good Will Hunting, so how you like that podcast? Yes, Chris, Mikey, Dave are back (as is a newcomer to the show - voiced by David....you'll find out soon enough) and trying to do their best Boston accent (having grown up about 30 miles north of Boston themselves. I'll spoil it right now - Dave's is the worst. Just awful.
Sicario (2015)
Nothing will make sense to your American ears, and you will doubt everything that we do, but in the end you will understand...Was that a clever reference to today's movie, or what!? Welcome back movie nerds - the gang is all here talking about the 2015 action thriller, Sicario.
And as a special treat, Dave joined Chris and Mikey from his house this time around - instead of in a restaurant.
Jurassic Park (1993)
Welcome...to Fine Movies. Fine Spirits. In this episode we go back AGAIN to 1993 (for the fourth time) to talk about another Steven Spielberg classic (for the fourth time). Two of our hosts are in their usual chairs at home. The third decided to take the podcast on the road and do it from a restaurant.
You know it was Dave at the restaurant, right? I mean you had to know. Mikey and Chris wouldn't do that.
But even with the distraction of food and people around him, Dave was able to contribute - even if it was incredibly rude to the other person he was eating with. That didn't stop him as we all took a visit - to Jurassic Park. So hold on to your butts....
Riders of Justice (2020)
Happy July everybody! Here in The United States, we’re spending the next few days celebrating our country’s independence. And here on the pod, we thought the best way to do that in the middle of the Summer was to talk about a 2020 Danish film set around Christmas.
So Happy Birtday, America! Merry Christmas movie watchers – and enjoy as Chris, Dave and Mikey talk about the fantastic Riders of Justice, starring the fantastic Mads Mikkelsen.
Black Hawk Down (2001)
Blame me (Mike) for this taking so long. I've been so busy. We recorded this over two weeks ago, and if I don't get this up now, it won't be up until July! So there's one thing you might notice different about this episode - NO clips. BUT fear not, the real reason you're listen is still here as I am joined, as always, by Chris and Dave.
Hmm, I wonder if doing it this way is better? If this gets more downloads...let's just say the episodes will get posted much quicker! So do it for me!!!
Oh and enjoy as we discuss Ridley Scott's Black Hawk Down.
Aliens (1986)
Wait over! Wait over man!
In 1979, we learned from Ridley Scott’s Alien that in space – nobody can hear you scream. In 1986, we learned from James Cameron’s Aliens taught us that they mostly come out at night. Mostly. And in 2023, we learn that putting Dave and Mikey in the same room talking on the same microphone might not have been the greatest idea. Chris did his best to reel them in as they took a slightly different approach to the podcast – an idea that they are going to stick with going forward. Less clips – more quips!
MacGruber (2010)
Let me tell you how this is gonna go down. First, you're going to download and listen to Chris, Mikey and Dave as they talk about the cinema classic, MacGruber from 2010. Then you're going to laugh your ass off and after that, you're gonna go give us a fancy review on Apple Podcasts. One thing I do know, is that you're going to enjoy this episode. And that is non-negotiable. Who's first?
Dazed and Confused (1993)
Have you listened to this episode yet? Be a lot cooler if you did....As we inch closer to the end of the school year, the boys are back with a new pod - and back visiting 1993 AGAIN, while also traveling back to 1976, to talk about the Richard Linklater cult classic, Dazed and Confused.
Join Dave, Chris and Mikey as they're only here to do two things, kick some ass and drink some beer. And talk about a movie. So, three things actually
The Guilty (2018)
Happy APRIL Everybody! The boys are back to reading a Danish movie today as they talk about the 2018 thriller, The Guilty. If you haven't seen this movie - don't be a FOOL and go right now this DAY and watch this movie on HBO Max.
The Departed (2006)
Happy St. Patrick's Day, everybody! To the Irish - like Chris! The Non-Irish - like Dave! And the Half-Irish - like Mikey! We wish you all a great day filled with....well with crazy criminals, lots of violence - and more than a few curse words. But not in real life, just on this latest episode of podcast as we discuss the 2006 Martin Scorsese modern classic, The Departed. For the real life stuff - just drink and party like hell! Sláinte!
True Romance (1993)
We now return to Fine Movies. Fine Spirits. already in progress....Welcome back loyal listeners as Chris, Dave and Mikey return to 1993 for the second episode in a row as we tackle the 1993 Tony Scott directed, Quentin Tarantino rollercoaster of a movie TRUE ROMANCE.
The Fugitive (1993)
HOT MESS ALERT: Hello fine podcast listeners. Please be aware that this episode may have run into more trouble than Richard Kimble did trying to clear his name. With Chris’ technical issues and Dave’s…we’ll say lack of energy….Mikey did his best to edit around it. So if it sounds choppy and weird, blame Chris and/or Dave. If it sounds great, give all credit to that amazing/handsome editor Mikey.
Full disclosure, that genius also writes these show notes. What a guy. The other two are lucky to know him….
Another Round (2020)
What a life! What a movie! The boys are back to talk about a movie that really could and should be considered the official mascot of this podcast! But they're not alone - joining them this round is past and future guest, Greg Morris, to make this fittingly a foursome as they talk about a truly amazing movie - the 2021 Academy Award winner for best International Film, Another Round.
So sit back, check your blood alcohol level, and enjoy the show...Skol!
Star Wars (1977)
Help us, podcast listeners – you’re our only hope. That’s right space cadets, your favorite three podcasters are back to talk about the ORIGINAL, before there were episode titles, before it was given a subtitle – the classic 1977 George Lucas masterpiece, Star Wars. This movie changed a lot of lives, and changed movies and pop culture forever, and finally we’re here talking about it!
Full disclosure, one of our hosts (I won’t say which Dave it is) had to be up at 3am to catch a flight. Keep that in the back of your mind when you set upon the listening adventure of a lifetime….
Poddersville VII: It’s A Wonderful Tradition
The Holiday tradition you’ve waited all year for is finally back! The boys are back for one final episode this year as they return to their roots for another episode of “Poddersville” where they talk about the beloved holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life.
The it’s NOT just the three of them on this Christmas Eve. No sir, our trio of hosts are joined by TWO guests this time around. Previous guest of the pod, and long time brother of Chris, Greg Morris returns after successfully podcasting with us about The Godfather earlier this year.
And joining us for the first time is longtime friend of Chris and Greg Christine Kuchar – proving that women (or at least a woman) listen to our show! We truly are fun for the whole family (as long as your family swears a lot).
See you in 2023!
Elf (2003)
The best way to spread Christmas cheer is podcasting a beloved Christmas classic for all to hear. That's right - this holiday season gather the family around the your podcast listening device of choice and listen to Dave, Chris & Mikey talk about the fine, fine Christmas movie - Elf!
Can you believe this movie is almost 20 years old? It just goes to show you that the hands of time are never stopping and each moment brings us all closer to our eventual...wait, what were we talking about? Oh, the cheerful, delightful Will Ferrell classic, Elf....Merry Christmas!!!!
Bone Tomahawk (2015)
While it is December and everyone is getting into the Holiday Season - we thought we'd throw some dirt on that a bit (and some blood too) and before we get in our holly jolly festive moods we thought we'd take a moment to talk about the gritty (very very gritty) 2015 S. Craig Zahler Western, Bone Tomahawk.
If you haven't seen this movie before and enjoy a good harsh look at the old West, you can watch Bone Tomahawk for free on Pluto and Hoopla.
Remember - this is NOT a Christmas episode and you should NOT watch this movie with your kids - unless your kids like gritty, gory westerns - then go for it mom and dad!
Heaven Can Wait (1978)
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our US listeners out there! To the rest of you, um, happy 4th week of November! It's that time of year where we focus on the ones we love and of course on football - and what better movie brings together such a feeling as 1978's Heaven Can Wait!
Chris and Dave have loved this movie forever, and Mikey just saw it for the first time for the pod. What did he think? Well you'll have to listen to find out. So, turn off the parade. Turn off the game (except for the Patriots game Thursday night). Turn off that video game the kids are playing in the other room - and all get together and listen to this brand new episode!
Rosemary's Baby (1968)
Happy Halloween all you ghouls and boys and get ready to HAIL SATAN with our three hosts as they talk about the 1968 horror classic, Rosemary's Baby! Spooky Season is here! Okay it has been here for weeks, but we really wanted to be fashionably late with our first scary movie of the month as we talk about the 1982 horror classic, John Carpenter's The Thing! But fear not - it will NOT be our last scary movie of the month....
Billy Madison (1995)
WE ARE THE SMARTEST MEN ALIVE! And today we are here to welcome everybody back to school (a month late) as we discuss the 1995 Adam Sandler classic (yes, we said it), Billy Madison. So sit back in your pool, pour another daiquiri, and enjoy the show. And no, that penguin is not actually there.
The Usual Suspects (1995)
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was inventing podcasts. And today we have another great one as Chris, Dave and Mikey talk about the 1995 modern film noir classic, The Usual Suspects - a movie so good that we can separate it from its director and star - but we don't ignore that either. FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!
Casablanca (1942)
You must remember this....We'll always have podcasts. And you'll always have Chris, Dave, and Mikey talking, drinking, and making fun of each other. Sometimes with great movies - and sometimes with an all-time classic like we have here in this episode when we talk about one of the greatest movies of all time, Casablanca, from 1942 starring Humphrey Bogart an dIngrid Bergman.
Parasite (2019)
Imagine showing up at someone's house and just staying there? Sure the 2019 Academy Award winning best picture Parasite is not based on a true story - but during the recording of this episode you will discover a very similar situation as Dave's son shows up in the middle of this episode to watch what turned out to be a truly terrible Celtics game. He's not a parasite, but I'm grasping at straws here.
You will hear him, his father, Mike and Chris talking about this great movie. Well maybe not him that much, but the older guys can't stop talking about it...
Since this is a foreign language film, there are no clips during the episode. In fact, Mike just pasted in the audio and really didn't do much editing at all...We'll see how that goes...
Die Hard (1988)
Welcome to the party pal! Yes yes, It's been a while since you last heard from your favorite movie fans, but Chris, Mikey and Dave are back - after a little summer vacation - to talk about the 1988 Bruce Willis cinematic classic, Die Hard. And we answer the question - is Die Hard a movie?
I mean - yes it is. That's why we talked about it.
Old School (2003)
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight's main event! This one was actually recorded 18 days ago and Mike finally got around to editing it for your listening pleasure. During this episode we learn how, for a short time, Chris almost lived out the plot of this movie - and how David can't spell the last name of his friend of over 42 years. Nothing matches friendship like that.
Rocky (1976)
Finally! This one was recorded weeks ago and Mikey finally got off his ass and got the episode finished. He of course is joined as always by Chris and Mike talking about 1976's Rocky - a truly wonderful movie that all three of our hosts grew up loving.
And stay tuned towards the end for a truly jaw dropping moment over a year in the making....
The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Good evening, podcast listeners and welcome back to the next audio adventure of our three heroic hosts. In this episode Chris, Dave and Mikey discuss the 1991 Jonathan Demme classic, The Silence of the Lambs, starring Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins. So put the god damn podcast in your ears. It does this or it gets the hose again....Fun for the whole family!
Miller's Crossing (1990)
What's the rumpus? We swear this episode was recorded in March and was just a few days after St. Patrick's Day! However, it took Mikey a few days longer than expected to finish up the episode of him, Dave and Chris talking the Coen Brother's 1990 "Miller's Crossing" - a movie 66% of our hosts watched for the first time for this episode!
The Godfather (1972)
50 years ago, Francis Ford Coppola and Mario Puzo brought us a cinematic masterpiece - one of the greatest movies of all time - The Godfather. Today, our usual gang, Chris, Mikey and Dave are joined by a new member of the FNE family, and a literal member of Chris and Dave's family, Chris' baby brother Greg. Together the four of spend a few hours going through this legendary movie, while enjoying a beverage or two. Or three.
Also, Greg is running in this year's Boston Marathon. Why would someone run so long on purpose when nobody is chasing them? Well, in Greg's own words:
"I am one of many who hope to do just that on April 18th at the 126th Boston Marathon. Not to just fulfill some crazy dream, but to do it while helping Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund fight cancer."
Yes Greg is raising money for an amazing cause, and if you have a chance please check out Greg's Fundraising page and donate if you can.
Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)
Adventure awaits as Dave, Chris and Mikey are back to discuss one of the greatest movies of all time – and our third Steven Spielberg film – Raiders of the Lost Ark, from 1981. So put on your fedora, pack up your whip, and be prepared to kill as many bad guys as you can in the name of preserving history! Or at least listen to us talk about Indiana Jones doing just that.
Zodiac (2007)
Happy Valentine's Day, lovers! The theme of this episode is - puzzles. On one hand, Dave, Chris and Mikey watched three amazing actors giving commanding performances as they try to piece together the puzzle of a famous serial killer in David Fincher's 2007 masterpiece, Zodiac.
And on the other hand - one of our hosts (rhymes with David) is actually doing a god damn jigsaw puzzle on Zoom while we're recording the episode. Don't worry - it's addressed.
Dumb and Dumber (1994)
Who needs a radio when you have the podcast du jour!? Chris, Dave and Mikey are back to talk about what hat to be one of the funniest movies of all time. Professionals!
