Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)
Happy Thanksgiving everybody! David, Chris and Mikey are together on Thanksgiving Eve (rather than go out and drink with other people at bars which is apparently what younger cool people do on this night?) and we're here to talk about the 1987 John Hughes classic, "Planes, Trains & Automobiles" starring the legendary comedians Steve Martin and John Candy. Consider this our kickoff to the holiday season!

Saving Private Ryan (1998)
To honor our nation's veterans, Mikey, Dave and Chris talked about the 1998 Steven Spielberg classic, "Saving Private Ryan" starring the great Tom Hanks. While this was recorded on Veterans Day, Mikey was not able to get it finalized and edited until tonight, and even though it's later than we had hoped - it's never too late to say thank you to our vets and our current troops. We hope you enjoy this episode!

The Exorcist (1973)
Happy Halloween everybody! It's the last day of Spooky Season so we thought we'd give you one more night of fright as we talk about quite possibly the scariest movie of all time in William Friedkin's 1973 classic, The Exorcist. Chris is drinking a special beer - Mikey is drinking a very special whiskey - and Dave is drinking his sorrows away as he discusses something very traumatic that happened to him only hours before. But to be fair it was probably more traumatic for the deer....

Spooky season continues as Dave, Mikey and Chris are back to talk about the original 1978 John Carpenter classic horror film, Halloween. AND if you stick around at the end, Chris and Mikey talk a little bit about the 2021 Michael Myers family-fun adventure, Halloween Kills for a bit – before somehow talking about another Halloween (holiday not franchise) movie.

The Shining (1980)

It's a hell of a thing doing a podcast about movies - and today our trio of podcast assassins ride into town and discuss the 1992 Clint Eastwood modern classic, Unforgiven, starring Clint, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, and Richard Harris. Chris has loved this movie for years. Dave saw this movie right when it first came out - and Mikey watched it for the first time ever just for this episode. Sit back, tip your hat, lay by the fire and enjoy...

You get the amazing Wind River from 2017, starring Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. Follow the show on Twitter and on Instagram. Like all the cool kids do.

The boys are back to talk about what is probably their favorite or if not one of their very favorite movies of all time - the Steven Spielberg classic and one of the finest (see what we did there) movies ever made - JAWS. Come along with us on an epic adventure that takes some very odd turns, including part of the podcast being recorded from one of the host's car - and stick around for a couple musical numbers at the end that Mike demanded be added in his contract as he is still trying to promote last year's JAWGUST celebration.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
"Episode 8 or: How we finally got Dave to see this movie for the first time, and Mike seeing it for the first time since college". As usual, Chris drives the boat, chief. We know that's not a Dr. Strangelove reference. Too bad, get used to it.

Kudos to Chris for doing the heavy lifting in this episode, while having to deal with one co-host's sick dog crying (she's doing okay now) and the other host caught clipping his toenails during the show. We're nothing if not professional while we talk about the classic 1990 Martin Scorsese film, Goodfellas.
May 31, 2021
Your favorite trio of podcasters is back to talk about the heat-warming tale of a drummer boy and his teacher. Tonight Dave, Chris and Mike gush over the 2014 Damien Chazelle film, Whiplash. Only two of the guys have a drink tonight. The third one did just got his second dose of the covid vaccine, so he just stuck to pineapple delivered to him live on the show by his son and friends. We are nothing if not professional.

Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood (2019)
Almost everything in Hollywood is a reboot, so we thought - why not reboot the podcast? What was once "Poddersville" is now a more general movie podcast, "Fine Movies. Fine Spirits." And what better way to kickoff the newly branded podcast then by talking Quentin Tarantino's love letter to old Hollywood! Chris, Dave and Mikey sit down together through the magic of technology and talk about this 2019 film while enjoying a few beverages - none of which unfortunately were whiskey sours.
