Fire Escape Cast

It's another holiday weekend in the U.S. and the Fire Escapees are up to their usual shenanigans. Dan bought a pressure washer and things totally went as planned. Mary rode out the Pacific Northwest heat wave with a return to Sea of Thieves. Mike is pretty sure he's a Red Dead Online Guy (TM) now.

It’s a holiday weekend as the gang calls in from New York, Portland, and Paul Ryckert’s baseball card bunker to talk about E3 announcements and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Also, Paul joins the gang to defend his monthly donation generosity.

Dan, Mary, and Mike weigh in on what constitutes the quintessential American road trip, and spend a not insignificant amount of time talking about their own personal "life hacks." Also: Dan is obsessed with a game about power washing, Mary helped a bunch of tigers make sushi, and Mike likes Shin Megami Tensei all of a sudden.   

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is out in the wild, and the Fire Escape crew has differing thoughts on the sci-fi classic. Also: Dan recounts the fights he's almost started, Mary is consumed by the hottest sport on the internet, and Mike discusses his love for trees.

It's been a busy few weeks for video games and their ilk, and the Fire Escape trio is here with early thoughts on Resident Evil 8, resounding diatribes about Returnal, and even a few early opinions regarding Mass Effect. Also: a mosquito sneaks into Dan's house; Mary declares her stance on the whole "knife vs. bat" thing; Mike offers his most controversial Resident Evil take ever.

Dan, Mary, and Mike kick off the inaugural installment of the Fire Escape Cast with their takes on 2021's biggest games so far, along with games that haven't come out recently that Mike is still playing for some reason. The crew also sets the tone for the ongoing reader mailbag segment with topics ranging from sawdust pizza, to uprooting their lives, to literal fire escapes.
