Hiking and biking in New Zealand
Whether you’re in New Zealand temporarily or you’re planning to make Aotearoa home, you’re probably keen to get out and explore. From soaring mountains to pristine beaches, Aotearoa New Zealand is a playground for outdoor enthusiasts. In this episode of the Front Foot English Podcast I discuss some of the activities that will satisfy your thirst for adventure. I’ll reflect on a few of my personal experiences, and I’ll give you some tips for making the most of your time here. There’s a lot to talk about, so I’m going to split this topic over three episodes. In this episode I first talk about what makes New Zealand so popular for outdoor pursuits. I then speak about hiking and biking. I talk about trails like the Milford Track, Queen Charlotte Track and the Old Ghost Road. I also speak about downhill mountain biking options in New Zealand.
