Epi: 18 Rising from the Root: Healing Your Root Chakra

We return to the foundation in this episode as we dive deep into the qualities of a root chakra that is out of alignment and explore modalities to become more sensitive to the area and get into alignment. Your host explains the principle and mythology of Sekhmet, the Kemetic goddess associated with the root chakra. We discuss how to rise out of the mud and evolve into a beautiful lotus. We discuss how the attributes of fire and a lion devouring negative habits and thinking further support personal and spiritual evolution. Redirecting sexual energy into creative energy is explored as a way to utilize divine gifts. Herbs, essential oils, crystals particular to the root chakra are covered as well as Kemetic Yoga poses and sequences that further support alignment, blood circulation, vitality and virility. This is an uplifting and empowering conversation that reminds us that we are spiritual beings having a human/physical experience. The goal is to create the bridge from the root to the crown, the physical to the spiritual realms to be able to tap into abundance. We seal up the reasoning with a 10 minute LAM meditation.
