Podcast sostenible

Enviromental issues are very discussed these days and barely few people are aware of them.

In today's episode we are going to interview the activist Clara Montaner, who wrote a book called Hola Vida to raise awarness towards this topic.

Quan el Dave Hakkens va penjar els plànols de màquines de reciclatge oberts per tothom, ningú s'esperava que passés a ser aquest moviment mundial. És dins d'aquest moviment on s'ha trobat Plàstic Preciós BCN, col·laborant amb @plasticprecioslasafor (Instagram), per fer consciència sobre l'ús del plàstic, i reciclar per donar una segona vida! Clauers, cartells, merchandising i fins i tot mobiliari, són algunes de les coses que es creen amb el plàstic reciclat de Plàstic Preciós. Sempre encoratjant a reciclar de forma habitual, aquesta iniciativa vol educar a través de l’acció. Crear consciència de l’ús que donem al plàstic, a través de xerrades i tallers pràctiques, reciclant en el moment. Treure la por al plàstic, però promoure el consum responsable, la responsabilitat social i la consciència de les nostres accions.

When Dave Hakkens uploaded his open hardware plastic recycling, no one expected it to become this global movement. It is within this movement where Plàstic Preciós BCN has found itself, collaborating with @plasticprecioslasafor (Instagram), to raise awareness about the use of plastic, and to recycle as much as possible! Keychains, posters, merchandising and even furniture are some of the things that are created with Precious Plastic recycled plastic. Always encouraging regular recycling, this initiative aims to educate through action. Raise awareness of the use we make of plastic, through talks and practical workshops, recycling in the moment. Take away the fear of plastic, but promote responsible consumption, social responsibility and awareness of our actions.

CAT: La crisi climàtica és el tema prioritari des de fa un temps, un tema que ens afecta a totes i de moltes maneres. Això pot generar tota mena d’emocions: des d’impotència fins a determinació per actuar. Identifiques els teus sentiments?

L’Alberto, psicòleg de professió, ha vingut a Barcelona a realitzar el seu màster en Intervenció i Gestió Ambiental. Va començar a participar en activitats a Hortet Del Forat (@elhortetdelforat - Instagram), un espai que va més enllà de cuidar un hort, i ha començat les seves trobades per reflectir i debatre sobre que significa viure en un estat d’alarma climàtica constant. Donar veu és un primer pas per trobar eines de gestió. Ens explica d’on sorgeix la idea, que significa per ell, i que vol assolir amb aquestes trobades al nostre Podcast #7!

EN: The climate crisis has been the priority topic for some time, an issue that affects us all in many ways. This can lead to all sorts of emotions, from frustration to determination to act. Do you identify your feelings?

Alberto, psychologist by profession, has come to Barcelona to do his master’s degree in Environmental Intervention and Management. He began participating in activities at Hortet Del Forat (@elhortetdelforat - Instagram), a space that goes beyond growing vegetables, and has begun his meetings to reflect and discuss what it means to live in a state of constant climate alarm. Giving voice is a first step in finding management tools. He tells us where the idea came from, what it means to him, and what he wants to achieve with these encounters in our Podcast # 7.

CAT: Què passa si traiem els diners en els mercats? Això pretén la xarxa Trocasec, oferir intercanvis en comptes de compravenda. Amb un afegit més humà, el mercat d'intercanvi s'ha hagut de transformar degut la Covid, establint-se d'una forma més reduïda, cada divendres, a laBiblioteca Francesc Boix. EN: What if we take money out of the markets? This is what Trocasec network tries to do: offer exchanges instead of buying and selling. With a more humane approach, the exchange market has had to be transformed due to Covid, establishing itself in a smaller version, every Friday, in the Francesc Boix Library. On the same line, Espigadores are a group of neighbours, who working in a network, take action against food waste. Two initiatives to give a second life to everything around us! CAT: I tu, saps el que és la permacultura? Ens traslladem a Porta, Nou Barris, on tenim el primer hort municipal centrat en aquest sistema de cultiu. Intergeneracional, inclusiu i sostenible. Vols saber més d’aquest projecte comunitari? Porta'm a L'Hort és un projecte comunitari, amb participació de diferents entitats i associacions del barri de Porta, a Nou Barris. Més de 500 metres quadrats per fer activitats, tallers, xerrades per apropar-se els conceptes de comunitat, permacultura, sostenibilitat i ecologia. Un projecte intergeneracional que uneix de forma transversal molts valors per crear una comunitat més unida, autogestionada i sòlida. EN: And you, what do you know about permaculture? We move to Porta, Nou Barris, where we can find the first green garden centered in this plant growth system. Intergenerational, inclusive and sustainable. Do you want to know more about this community project?  Porta'm a L'Hort is a community project, with the participation of different entities and associations in Porta neighborhood, in Nou Barris. More than 500 square meters for activities, workshops, talks to get closer to the concepts of community, permaculture, sustainability and ecology.
