Life Is Strange 2 [Review]

Already big fans of the original game expectations were unquestionably high for the follow up as the focus this time is shifted to Sean and Daniel Diaz. Two brothers forced to go on the run when Daniel's awakening powers reveal themselves, putting the pair on a journey  from Seattle to Mexcio before the authorities catch up with them. 

But with the original game already setting such a high bar and the decision to focus on two new characters could it really compare? This is just one of the questions as we find out for ourselves playing through the whole saga.

Her Story [Game Review]

Welcome to the first audio game review/discussion for Game Warp! This episode, we discuss and review 2015 interactive film video game Her Story which is a debut project developed by Sam Barlow. As their next game Telling Lies prepare to launch in a few days, we take a moment to look back at this starting point. 

Her Story uses a database of video clips of an interrogation of a woman to search and solve an investigation of a missing man. Using live action film footage played primarily with British musician Viva Seifert as the missing man's wife, Her Story was originally known for its unconventional mechanics and strong narrative while being nominated and winning awards. 

Both as first time players of this game, we discuss Her Story from its narrative to its actress down to its gameplay mechanics and more and whether its outstanding elements are shared by either of us.
