As we reconvene for our new monthly recordings, Andy is side-lined with responsibility, which leaves the remaining trio to look at what's happening in April. We highlight the changes we're making before normal service resumes with a look through some of the bigger releases this month followed by some smaller, Indie ones. Theirs also a question of the month added in for good measure.

Three's company

A new overview
In the first episode of 2023, we have a brand new acoustic intro from Nick to open the show. In part one we touch on the demise of Google stadia, talk some more about John's beloved The Last of Us plus the unspectacular Calisto Protocol. In our last recording of 2022, things are relatively quiet on the news front. Instead, the four of us have an in-depth discussion about various games we've enjoyed throughout this year as well as a look ahead to some big names coming in 2023. How Many Remakes?

The conversation
In the first episode of the new year I'm absent through illness, leaving Andy to lead the line on his own. To help him do that, he invited along a good friend of the show Mr Nick Humphreys. The two of them discuss what they've been playing recently as well as looking ahead to some upcoming titles They also touch base on the state of some recently released titles & the spiralling cost of buying video games. I also found a nice opening sound effect to introduce the show.
