On this episode we are back with the Director of National Seed Association of India – Indra Shekhar Singh.
Indra tells us how during the COVID-19 pandemic cannabis has helped hundreds of thousands of people with anxiety, depression, epilepsy, cancer, pain relief and paranoia in countries where medical cannabis products are legally available.
He stresses on how the Indian farmers need to focus on conserving their Indica variety germplasm of the cannabis plant and its heritage. If they cultivate this, they can earn as much as 50,000 INR per acre. If we embrace the plant, India can grow its economy by 25 billion dollars!!
Being the land of Ayurveda, Indra stresses that India should have a strong cannabis based medicinal industry.
