Yes, we know that technology is everywhere and shaping our generation in new, unimagined ways. Yes, we know we should unplug and be less distracted. But there’s another reason we should temper our use of technology: solitude.
It’s hardly surprising that time spent in solitude has diminished due to the rise of our smartphones and social media platforms. And this decrease in solitude has had serious consequences for us. As it turns out, we need solitude — just as much as we need personal relationships — to live healthy and thriving lives. Catch Ndiimanae and Njabulo as they discuss solitude as a form of therapy.

9. ACCESS GRANTED!! : How to raise your Frequency/Vibrations
This week Ndiimanae gives you access to how to go about raising your vibrations and frequency. When one door closes another door opens, and there is always a way forward, but opportunity and advancement often depend on one thing and that is learning LOVE, love is the primary intent in raising your vibrations. So, how do we raise our frequency? There are numerous things you can do to help yourself raise your frequency, but none of them will work unless you have the intent to learn with Spirit about loving yourself and others.
Our intent is the most powerful tool we have for raising our frequency. There are only two possible intents at any given moment:
- To learn with God/Spirit about loving yourself and others
- To protect against your pain and avoid taking responsibility for your feelings.
8. Understanding how manifestations work
This week Ndiimanae dives into a very interesting and popular topic around how manifestations work. 7. Achieving Clarity (Physical, Spiritual and Mental)
This week Ndiimanae touches on clarity!! reflecting on her journey of finding clarity and its importance. "For me the greatest beauty always lies in the greatest clarity. – Gotthold Ephraim Lessing
Have you ever experienced foggy weather? Low visibility and the inability to see what you know exists leaves you feeling lost in the once-familiar, now misty world around you. Not until the sun shines to evaporate the surrounding ground clouds can you really see what is around you?
Fog can creep in on the human psyche too. Whether physical, mental, or spiritual, a foggy feeling in life is one that wants to leave you with little to no progress, practically stealing the potential love and positive energy that awaits you."
6. "It's Coming together when it's falling apart": A Dive into Spiritual Awakenings
Put simply, spiritual awakenings mark the beginning of your initiation on the spiritual path. Without experiencing a spiritual awakening, we go throughout life pursuing the emptiness of money, fame, power, and respect in an attempt to find “happiness.”
The unsettling and equally beautiful thing about spiritual awakenings is that they occur at the least expected times. There is no way you can plan for them. They lurch into your life and shake everything up like tornadoes. But the hidden gift buried deep within them is that they occur at the precise time that you need them the most.
5. Courage To Let Go & Move On
In this episode of Genesis Speaks, Ndiimanae reflects on the courage of letting go and moving on with life, looking at her story of having to let go of a job opportunity it took her to five strategies that you may need to find the courage to let go. If you have reflected on your situation with a therapist or coach and are sure you need to move on, try these five strategies to give yourself the courage to shape a life that fulfils instead of drains you:
- Shift your focus. Instead of dwelling on what you'll lose, think about what you might gain, even if the changes take time. Gifts are waiting for you to discover if you keep moving forward.
- Re-frame the losses. You might fear being alone but having your own space and controlling your days is better than feeling suffocated or trapped. Finding and starting a new job may feel daunting, but you might find ways to make the search and new work an adventure.
- Plan a strategic exit. Don't make emotional decisions. Consider the best time to call it quits. Set a firm date and stick to it even when you try to talk yourself out of it. Then get clear on how you will persevere in the meantime.
- Work with others to build clarity and confidence. Think through your fog of fear, doubt, and resentment. Consult with wise friends who will be straight with you. If you are stuck or depressed, seek a good therapist.
- Take care of yourself. When life feels difficult, you might skimp on your self-care. Now is the time to make sure you sleep and eat well, do fun things with friends, manage your finances, and reflect on what is good in your life. Be careful of being overly self-critical. Focus on what you have learned from your experiences that will help you make wise choices in the future.
4. Finding Purpose: Decoding Self-Actualization
The episode explores the true essence of discovering one's purpose. The conversation sheds light on how the journey of finding one's purpose is one that requires self awareness and introspection for one to meet and become their higher authentic self. Ndiimanae and Lindokuhle reflect on their lived experiences on the resilience it takes to actively search and remain one's purpose when found. Finding purpose is often mistaken for finding the meaning of life but it merely is connecting to our individual calling - the reason for existing. The conversations taps into the concept of self-actualization and the practicality of it's attainability as well as the significance of divine preparedness and wisdom to sustain the blessings of finding purpose . The pathways of knowing your life purpose aren't always clear, knowing your passion does not mean you will receive support from the audience but you must be willing to look and sound crazy in the quest of unravelling that which sets your heart on fire - fulfillment.
3. Separation Anxiety: Tapping into abandonment and attachment issues.
On this episode we share our personal experiences with seperation anxiety, how it affected our mental health and wellness as well as how we cope(d) with the triggers. Seperation anxiety is a gateway to attachment and abandonment disorders because life-changing situations make us realize that we were unconsciously deeply attached to something/ someone - detaching make one feel abandoned (both processes hurt) and may make one dread establishing meaningful relationships with others to avoid feelings of separation anxiety.
