Episode 8 - Halloween Special (Sci-Fi Horror)
Join the bois for a monster mash as they dress up and talk sci-fi horror for a spookycast! Kyle dresses as Gerardo, Andy as Orville Peck, Edmon as a Halloween Yoshi and Gerardo as legendary costume designer Edith Head! They also talk about their definition of sci-fi horror and go through some of their most influential horror films!

Gerardo and Anthony discuss their time watching Mary Magdalene (2018)!! A great feminist take on the historic/biblical character of Mary Magdalene that is a beautiful reminder that the Kingdom of Heaven is already within us all. It becomes our choice on how we live that out through loving others even when it is messy and wild!

Join the Prairie Bois for their very first COLLABORATION! They discuss the weird and wonderful world of experimental filmmaking and its many forms! They are joined by a special guest host, Jamie, McRae of FAVA (The Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta)! He is their Rentals Manager, local film community advocate and experimental filmmaker in his own right!

Gerardo shares his experience watching David Lean's "Brief Encounter". He highlights import moments in sound, lighting and cinematography which impacted him and discovers the wonderful sensitivity of this great director.
