Aloni Ford: Quitting With A Plan
Today on the podcast I'm chatting with powerhouse Aloni Ford. After leaving her high market, luxury real estate job in Beverly Hills, Aloni began to film by faith. She later partnered with Kevin Durant and Beats by Dre on a show titled Parking Lot Chronicles. Her shows Mom's Got Game appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Network and Super Temps is a Direct TV 3D Special. She has also worked with Jordan Clarkson, Kyle Kuzma, Shaun Livingston, Sanaa Lathan, Morris Chestnut and with President Obama as a Campaign Strategist (2006-2010). Aloni's most recent highlight is a women empowerment movement called the Yacht Girls Book Club. The mission is to bring women together over intellectual conversations. Jasmine Lopez: Finding Identity & Purpose
Today on the podcast I'm chatting with Co Creator of Authentic Adventure & Co Founder of The Firehouse Dream, Jasmine Jazzy Lopez. Jasmine is a storyteller, dreamer and executer. Her story is one of restoration and purpose fulfilled. Eight years ago she started her photography business, Jazi Photo and shortly after started a give back where she would photograph and share inspiring stories on her blog called #Clickforhope. In 2017, she felt as though she was being pulled in so many directions and in turn had separated herself from all things that brought her joy. This catapulted her journey in discovering her identity and determining how it ties to her purpose. In Jan of 2018, she rebranded and decided to share all of who she is in one space called Authentic Adventure. Jasmine and her husband, Jeremy, share the peaks and valleys of life with their 3 beautiful girls as they pursue their passions. Jasmine & Jeremy recently purchased a firehouse in the west Chicago Suburb of Maywood to create the non profit, The Firehouse Dream. Lauren Bealore: You Belong In That Room
Today on the podcast we're going behind the hustle with political fundraiser guru & co-founder of Young Ambitious and Beautiful, Lauren Bealore. She is a serial barrier breaker & changemaker who can tell you everything about getting into rooms that you belong in. Though she may walk into rooms as the first one or the only one, she has committed her career to making the political realm more diverse and inclusive by bridging gaps between minorities, women and politics. After completing her Masters in Public Policy, Lauren began her political career with the Fellow for the Millennial Mayors Congress Program. In 2014 during her role as a Finance Director for a Democratic Nominee for the Michigan House of Representatives Lauren helped to raise $800,000 during the campaign election. She was the first African American female selected as the Female Young Democrat of the year through the Oakland County Democratic Party. The first and only African American in her role as the Corporate Relations and Events Manager for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. Lastly, the youngest woman elected as Precinct Delegate of Precinct 19 in the City of Southfield. Lauren is the Co-Founder for a women-owned non-profit organization by the name of Y.A.B., which stands for Young, Ambitious and Beautiful. It is a young entrepreneurial conglomerate for businesses owned by women of color. Jasmine Dantzler-Williams: You Need To Make Your Move Now
Today on the show I'm chatting with ultimate hustler, Motown bred and raised, Jasmine Dantzler-Williams. Jasmine fell in love with all things glamorously vintage at the young age of 8 when she first laid eyes on pictures of The Supremes in their gorgeous glitzy ensembles; her adoration for classic fashions was further cemented after viewing actress Dorothy Dandridge sashay across the tv screen in Carmen Jones. She went on to obtain a degree in fashion marketing from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago and gained over 10 years experience working with vintage apparel and footwear while living in Chicago and NYC.
