Elijah McClain was 23 years old when he fit the description. He was a gifted young man who was very sweet and spirited. Elijah played the violin for animals at the shelter to calm them. He was placed in a chokehold and dosed with a lethal amount of ketamine. He died a week later. The district attorney Dave Young has refused to investigate, nor prosecute the 3 white officers who murdered this young man. This is another case of dying by black. 

Black women are most likely to be killed by black men, not just in America, across the world. While proximity does play a role in that, misogynoir also plays a role.  While we love our men, there needs to be a real come to Jesus meeting that they need to do with each other before they lose their biggest allies. Black women.
