Grant and the Crew discuss Bosom Buddies, the 1980's television show that helped a young Tom Hanks first get noticed in the Hollywood industry.  While this show itself may have had little success only lasting 2 years, it has indirectly left a permanent mark on the lives of all men, women and children who have ever seen a Tom Hanks film.  Please join Grant, Kyle Chrissy and Adam as they take a look at the show and get to see Tom Hanks in his early years.

Dew Room host Grant gets to take a look at one of his personal favorites as a kid, Family Ties starring the beloved Michael J. It's been a long Covid summer, but now we are back for season 2 of our multigenerational group discussions. How do the tv shows from the 60s, 70s and 80s hold up today? Join us as we explore how television has changed from one generation to the next.  While some of us are revisiting these gems, others are experiencing them for the first time. You can't just send someone to the store anymore for a gallon of milk...do you want soy, almond, coconut, fat free, whole or 2% milk?  Like what?!  Just get me some damn milk!  So many food options and choices...who needs 12 different kinds of Oreos?  How was it done back in the 80's or before with no Double stuffed Oreos?!?  Listen in and see what our old-timers did it when they were younger.

Have you ever tried swearing in front of your grandmother?  Probably not?  Why?  She'd probably smack the grin right off your smug little face and you know it.  That's how it was in past generations...you just didn't swear or you'd get your ass whooped.  Now....wow...now, not so much.  Nowadays, you can hear 7 year old kids cuss out their own parents.  Do you swear in front of your parents?  What would happen if you did?  Here are some stories from our Dew Crew members Grant, Kyle and Chrissy.  Enjoy!

Dew Room host Grant is joined by Kyle, Chrissy and Mandi as they take a look at a very serious topic relevant in today's society.  School shootings were never really a concern in past generations, however as we all know, since Columbine in 1999, things have only escalated.  Have you ever been part of a school lockdown?  Do you know what a lockdown is?  Mandi actually went through this twice while she was in school.  Sit back and listen to some very real stories of what happens during a lockdown and why these precautions are necessary to take in today's schools.

Car enthusiast Jimmy joins the show as a guest for a very nontraditional show. The first all male Dew Crew with Grant, Kyle and Adam proves to be a testosterone driven show.  Do you like it hot?!  As in hot cars, hot girls and hot tubs....stick around and enjoy some laughs as we hear some PG stories...ok maybe not PG, but funny nonetheless.

Special guest Mandi joins the Dew Room crew as they dig a little deeper to discuss the controversial topic of social reform.  Being part of the LGBTQ+ community back in the 80's or even earlier was taboo, but as a society, we have evolved and it has become more acceptable today.  Is society where it needs to be?  Have we evolved enough where there is equality?  Let's hear some personal stories from our Dew Crew and you decide...

Grant and Kyle are joined by Christina as they talk about the differences in school security and how much it has changed through the years.  Were there fights at your school when you were growing up?  What type of security was there at your school?  Was there a need for it?  We see some similarities through the years but also as you can imagine, some huge changes as society has evolved.   We now have a much greater need for more stringent security measures.  Tune in as we discuss the many reason why things have changed.

Newlyweds An"dew" and Malissa join Grant and Kyle in the Dew Room to discuss how we did things before we had YouTube to give us step by step directions to anything we want to know.   The library?  Like an actual book?  Do those still exist anymore??
