How Do Your Grapes Grow?
Welcome to our episode on viticulture and grape growing. With every good winery there is a great vineyard behind it. This episode we deconstruct Growth Stages and the life cycle of a vine, topography, and irrigation. We discuss how and when winemakers need to be in contact with the vineyards as well as needing to know as much about the vine as they do the fermentation. We attempt to answer the quest on why a vineyard might be planted where and how it is, as well as some locations that you might not want to plant a vineyard. I hope you enjoy it . Terroir What is it Good For?
Hello and welcome to Episode 6 of the Grape to Glass podcast, and this week we are deconstructing Terroir. That mysterious word that is used by Sommeliers, wine magazines, to tasting room personnel. We thank you for being here and please leave us a review on whatever app you are listening to us on. Also check us out on Instagram @grapetoglasspod and join in the conversation. Titles to hold Part 2
Hello Everyone!! This episode we are still talking about titles you can hold in a winery. We also are going to dive in to how those positions may change over harvest. I apologize in advance for some of the audio issues, but I did my best to minimize those. Please let us know what you think by rating and reviewing the podcast on whatever app you use, that helps us get heard by more people. Feel free to email us at grapetoglasspod@gmail.com and I will answer those, I would love to hear from you. On a scheduling note we are going to go twice a month for the foreseeable future because there's just 2 of us, and we also have jobs and families. We are so grateful for everyone.
