There's no harm in doing some interesting conversations and meeting some new people and providing some kind of entertainment or education for your audience. I was doing sales in designing the website. But I was probably kind of a bit of a jack of all trades and Master of None. I think podcasts are almost like an evolution of radio in a sense. But the difference really, between radio and podcast, is a podcast is something that you download, you can listen to it from the beginning to the end, and for radio you tune in if you listen to what's happening right now. I think the fact that these kinds of communication tools, zoom and your radio, podcasting, and video chat, and all these live streaming functionalities are available on a wide range of platforms just make the whole thing really accessible to everyone. Being a guest on someone else's podcast is a great way to go if you're not really ready to take the plunge and start your own podcast. I always had an interest in the behind the scenes stuff, figuring out how things work. So I guess it's kind of in a sense, and that's really what I've ended up doing.

So just doing the best you can that day and truly being the best you can do and knowing you kind of left it all out on the field, that's still going to build your confidence. I do see it as a potentially really loud and intrusive way to finally do those things you've always wanted to do to say those things you've always wanted to say and do those passions because now we don't really have a choice. And I'm somebody who has both an artistic and a very logical sense about me.

Ended up learning a lot. There's just so much more you have to do in good fiction writing, and he finds it to be nearly impossible. Many people are experts or there are many masters, but there's no one who's ever done it perfectly. We're all dealing with the exact same demons telling us all of the empty pages and like how to write faster and how to come up with an idea. And I will just say, that was self. It's easier to research now, but most of my work comes from, like mythology and magic. My tip is if you could do something else, go do it because books are everything that someone would do. In this episode, we get to speak with Jesse Cruz, he lives in upstate New York with his wife and children. The Cruz family currently serves at Cross Creek Church. He has proudly served our country as an Iraq War Veteran of the U.S. Army. Jesse is the Program Coordinator of the Wayne County Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. In addition to his career, he has been engaged in speaking at correctional facilities and coaching sports. He has a B.A. in Community Youth Development at Nazareth College. Currently, Jesse is pursuing his Master's in Theology at Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and hiking with family and friends. And the purpose of the book is that you're given, which is a small part of the tombstone, which is a huge part of your life. It's because we don't know when our time is going to end. We have limited time here. I'm in tune with these eight areas of my life, and I'm intentionally finding ways to develop them, and to grow them, then my life is much more meaningful. The writing was therapy for me. That's what helped me gather my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions, to try to make sense of my life and what I experienced in it. I just try to turn my pain into power. If you have paint and you don't do anything with it, then it becomes destructive. But if you take paint, do something constructive with it, it becomes powerful and it brings it to the purpose and that's what I want it to do. My goal is just to help people a little less not to say I'm going to give you the cure. I'm going to wave this magic wand and it's all going to go away. But
