I met Gia through the interesting app of TicTok. In this episode, we talk about her passion for theatre. We also dived into the topic of body inclusivity in the entertainment industry, whether that is plays and musicals to blockbuster films. We discuss what changes we would like to see when it comes to the entertainment industry and what it has been like growing up plus size in today's society. She is not only my cousin but one of the most inspiring and hard-working women I know! We talk about her passion for her job as a door-to-door saleswoman/manager at Vivint. We talk about the most rewarding part of her job, how she continues to strive even in a job that has its drawbacks and how she got there. Mckenzie and I also touch on what it means to be a hard worker and her tips on how to find your true passion.

I met this wonderful, now engaged (congratulations!!), couple when I worked at a ranch in Southern Utah back in 2020. They were a waitress and a waiter and I was a cook/dishwasher/treat lady. They are hands down a few of the most outdoorsy and genuine people I've ever met! In the episode, we talk about their passion for travel, more specifically their love for the trailer they live in. In this episode, I was able to talk to one of my really good friends since freshman year, Mariah Livingston.  Mariah and I lived down the hall from one another and became friends simply because our roommates were really good friends.  During this episode, we talked about Mariah's journey so far in nursing school, why she's passionate about health care, and if the medical television shows are anywhere near what actually goes on in the hospital.

Welcome to the very first episode of Harlee's Hot Seat, a podcast all about people and their passions. For the very first episode, I talked to one of my favorite musicians and a very good friend of mine, Carver Louis. Carver was born and raised in small-town Tooele, Utah lived the life of any home town kid. He began releasing music back in 2017 with his first single, "Through With You." Soon after that, he released his debut album Through With You,  which allowed him to gain traction and had his popularity grew. He's performed at barbeque joints and music festivals with some of the biggest country music stars to date. During his shows he commits to give the audience 100%, pouring his heart out in every song never leaving the audience disappointed. I had a wonderful time interviewing Carver and we covered a wide range of things from his music, the audience to future goals for him and his band.
