Justin Breen has 20+ years of experience in the media business, has won dozens of editing and writing awards, and is an author of countless viral stories.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and former sports editor and assistant managing editor of the The Times of Northwest Indiana, Breen was the third employee hired by DNAinfo in 2012.
In April 2017, Justin left full-time employment to found BrEpic Communications, a firm that helps entrepreneurs, leaders, and amazing individuals to build their brands with creative content and successfully create pitches to mainstream media.

Episode Five with Bushra Amiwala
On this episode of the Elevate Podcast we interview Bushra Amiwala.
Bushra Amiwala is a media icon, student, dynamic speaker, and the youngest Muslim elected official in the United States.
At the age of 19, she announced her candidacy for the Cook County Board of Commissioners, with the goal to serve as a voice for her underrepresented generation and other marginalized communities. Her campaign has been covered nationally by outlets such as the Chicago Tribune, The New York Times,Teen Vogue, and landing her on the cover of TIME magazine. Bushra recently went down in the Chicago History Museum as the Youngest Muslim Elected in the United States.
Her leadership has extended far beyond her campaign as she’s inspired countless others to increase their civic participation. As a result, she’s been named Glamour magazine’s College Woman of the Year, Seventeen magazine’s Voice of the Year, and internationally as CosmoGirl’s Change Maker of the Year. Bushra was awarded the Public Peace Ambassador award sponsored by the United Nations, and has been named is one of the 18 people to remember from 2018.
In addition to these wards, Bushra is the subject of an original documentary, the female candidate on RUN the Series, and she has made hundreds of TV and radio appearances, including outlets such as Fox, NPR, ABC, and PBS.
Bushra has spoken at countless colleges and universities, organizations and international companies, with live audiences ranging from 25 to 15,000 people. She is currently a senior at DePaul University and serves on the Board of Directors of the Indo-American Democratic Organization (IADO), GenerationVote, Women Empowering Women in Illinois Legislation (WeWill) and SheVotesIL. She holds her elected seat on the Skokie Board of Education, as its youngest member.

Christina Stathopoulos is a Professional Certified Coach (International Coach Federation-credentialed) and an Accomplishment Coaching Certified Coach. She holds degrees with high honors in Chemistry and English from Mount Holyoke College.
In her business, Hear Her Roar, Christina specializes in working with millennial women who have taken on a new leadership role and are facing the common struggles of managing a team--having executive presence, leading people towards a goal, letting go of doing all the do.
In addition to her private practice, she serves the next generation of coaches and leaders as a Leader in Training of Accomplishment Coaching’s Coach & Leadership Training Program. In her 4 years of business, she has coached 1,500+ hours and provided 850+ hours of leadership training.
She is an International Speaker, having recently spoken at the world’s largest coaching conference in Prague about coaching millennial leadership. In short, she really loves this stuff.
When she is somehow not talking about coaching or leadership, you can find her brewing beer, sneaking more plants into her office, eating delicious meals with her husband, crying over cute dogs on Instagram, or setting a few witchy intentions.
In this episode, Christina and I talk about her work as a Millennial Life Coach in an industry where most folks are over 45, creating your life life from your intention vs. default, how performance gets in the way of true partnership and connection.
