LSU erased a 3-2 deficit on Friday night with a four-run sixth inning as the Tigers went on to post a 6-4 win over top-ranked Texas A&M in Alex Box Stadium.
LSU, which has won eight of its last 10 games, improved to 30-17 overall, 8-14 in the SEC, while the Aggies dropped to 39-7 overall and 15-7 in conference play.

In episode six of In The Dirt on the Hey Fightin' Podcast Network, hosts Alex Milazzo and Hayden Travinski are joined by former Tiger and now Toronto Blue Jay, Kevin Gausman ('11-'12). Gausman is a right-handed pitcher and Cy Young Finalist with over a 10 year career in Major League Baseball. This isn't new for Alex Milazzo, though, who caught for Kevin in Baton Rouge while the MLB and college baseball seasons were shut down over COVID.
Alex and Hayden get to the bottom of Gausman's unorthodox superstitions from his college days, along with how the pitcher/catcher relationship transforms from college to professional ball.
