Hive Radio Storytellers started in April 2019, a group of like minded people interested in Audio Drama. No experience was necessary.

Hive Radio storytellers present Local History 2022
We have looked at more of our local history and have some new tales to tell. We are also joined by Adam Bell from South Shields Museum and Art Gallery to talk about their latest exhibition 'Pushing the Boat Out' looking at the history of Shipbuilding and Ship Repair in South Tyneside. Adam has been collecting Oral Histories from people that worked in the shipyards that will be available to hear at the exhibition, and we have included some of the recordings in the podcast. Hive Radio Storytellers presents Romance and Heartbreak
This episode looks at Romance and Heartbreak. Each month we select a theme for the members of the group to create short audio dramas. We have an ongoing challenge to see if we can produce a piece that is 60 seconds or less, and this month we have a poem for you to hear.
Our group meets every Wednesday, sometimes virtually, other times in person especially when we have a new project developing. We aim to meet the first Wednesday of the month at Perth Green Community Association in Jarrow.
