Can we talk about Something Else PLEASE 🤪
Today, I want to shift our attention to what we can control. Let’s dig into emotions, particularly happiness. Here we talk about the work of Byron Katie and Brooke Castillo and others, as we understand what “thought work” even means, and how to find power on the inside (where we can feel so helpless and overwhelmed). This is meant to empower you and bring peace, and I hope it does my friends, because our mental state matters now more than ever. It affects how we show up in the world, and the impact we can and will make depends on the thoughts that we allow to tell our story.

Let Yourself Go!!!
Society tells you not to let yourself go. I call BS. In this episode I talk about how the idea of not letting ourselves go represents a great truth; this is the fact that so many of us hold ourselves captive to the ideas of others. You are enough and don’t need to comply. Free yourself from expectations of others and society and learn to really embrace yourself. I hope you enjoy!

Shame vs Accountability
In this episode I open up about a story that has had a lot of power in my life. A part of my journey that, because I had not rewritten the narrative, had a powerful pull of shame in my life. I talk a little about the difference between taking responsibility for our actions and tormenting ourselves with shame. How our actions are not where our value lies and I recap a mini version of rewriting our story. I hope you find help and encouragement in this episode. Have a wonderful day!

Becoming Your Body’s Ally
Your body was beautiful from the moment it was born. How Authentic Connection Disarms the Lies
In this episode we dive into the importance of authentic relationships. As the author Ben Boss said in his Book about Dyslexia, “Ironically, community is the antidote to shame.” Let’s talk about shame and vulnerability and how important it is to take time to find your tribe and put forth effort to be vulnerable.
