In the Season 2 premiere, I travel to Kansas City, MO, home of Coach James Thornton. He gives us his story in growing up in KC and how he evolved into becoming a Head Coach after knee injuries took away his playing career.

As we Conclude Women’s History Month, I’ve landed back in NYC to speak with 2021 Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 recipient on her journey and her evolution to being one of Sports most prominent media personalities.

Hailing from Bellflower, California, Monica Hanna shares her journey as once a player who played in Air Force Ones her first day of tryouts, to now playing professionally in Egypt, where she shares family ties.

In Part 2 of Coach Crawley’s incredible story, she gives us the behind the scenes details of her infamous Blindfold dunk in the 1998 ABL dunk contest. She also dives into her time in the WNBA and gives us the inside scoop on how she became an NCAA coach. Stay tuned!!!

In Part 1 of this special episode of Hoopers Unhailed, I talk to legendary Hooper, Sylvia Crawley. The Steubenville, OH native shares their stories of her recruiting and college experience on her way to a National Championship in 1994. She then details stories of her playing overseas with one interesting story involving the Italian Mafia.

This week, we are in Savannah, Georgia to profile a 94 ft former point guard, Justina Knight. The former Groves High School and Morris College Hooper shares her story coming up in Savannah and how she transitioned into basketball evaluations. Now, as Head Evaluator for Rashad Phillips’ Sports Talk 2319 and founder of Hoop Vals, she’s thriving into her new role and also gives us her top 5 NBA draft prospects.

In this episode, I find myself in the Steel City, Pittsburgh, PA to chop it up with Ashley Battle. The former UConn Husky and 6 year WNBA vet tells us her story about her upbringings, and an interesting story during her time as a New York Liberty involving a well known music icon.

Episode 4 tells a story about an Unhailed Hooper from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Maria Laterza, who once battled the court with greats like Epiphany Prince and Tina Charles, tell her story about her time at MAAC Conference powerhouse Marist College, playing for the Italian National team, and then trading in her jersey for business attire working in the NBA league office. She also gives me surprising news about her playing career.

A Brick City (Newark, NJ) native, Jada Jae Jefferson tells me her story about her upbringings, being a star at Malcom X Shabazz High School, and her stories while being at Fordham University. She also details how her relationship with her coach, Sylvia Crawley changed her whole perspective on the game and how she proceeded to play overseas and transitioning to the media world.

Hailing from Queensbridge, New York, Daniel Artest shares his story from the time he picked up a basketball, to creating this media group, 2Sixty5 Media after he decided to hang up his pro jersey. Let’s walk a mile in his shoes as he shares super dope stories and what he’s doing as he remembers Kobe Bryant and his legacy.

This first episode takes me to the East side of Chicago. Zach Ramey, a former Pro Basketball Player tells me his story on his upbringings, how he has shifted his gift in basketball towards media through his podcast, “The Off The Glass Podcast”, and a very interesting story regarding his involvement with the And 1 Mixtape Tour.
