Through the pantheon and traditions of a few ancestral lineages that continue to keep our sacred rivers flowing. Honoring the rites of passages, both gently and forced by the universe, as well as supported through accepted initiations in to womb-mysteries. As the Yin principle and the feminine aspect to manifest from what is hidden. I have  decided to switch up the nature of my podcast as SOLTree Healing to House of Nekhbet. Learning that growth and expression as well as the representation of that is fluid. My Goddess consciousness has requested that I fully honor her in our/my path of divinity.  I don't speak of my Priestess-ship,  but mommy said it's time and the diligent daughter is listening.

I am grateful to speak with and be in a place of transparency with my mother as she requested to have this mother, daughter talk in recognition of my traversing deeper into my womanhood. I recently celebrated my 36th solar return this month (REP YOUR SET VIRGOS!!). My mother and I speak often and have many heart to hearts in support of one another not only out of our relationship dynamic, but also as two women who continue to seek and strive towards living our bests in all the transitions of life. Being BIPOC, most of us if not all of us do not know much about our places of origin outside of American History and it's only link to our ancestors via slavery. My cousin Laurin has been on a dedicated journey of unraveling our family line, by way of searching for her mother's biological parents. In Traditional African Spirituality, and frankly, most indigenous spiritual systems, our ancestors are key to many of our blessings and guidance in life. We are forever linked to them both for the good and the bad. In this episode Laurin and I begin to discuss not only what it means to us as family to partake in the transition and influence of ancestral liberation but what our ancestors mean to us in general.
