Brad Griffiths - Sr. Dir. of Sports Marketing @ Platinum Rye
Episode 7 with Brad Griffiths
www.linkedin.com/in/brad-griffiths-38b5579
How does a 17-year-old break into the workforce? Brad Griffiths had no clue either - but the combination of hard work, being friendly and being a money getter put Brad in a position to work for McCann at a young age - in a sports role nonetheless.
Brad is a money getter. I interviewed Brad for a job at Platinum Rye Entertainment and quickly learned Brad was here to get money - he had done his research, knew his value in the marketplace and firmly justified how hiring him at this $ level will put him in position to get money - and get money he did.
No experience/no problem, no fear of failure, and being conscious of the world around you are some of the gems Brad shares on his experience working in the business of sports
Shout out to Scott Mayo, Shout out to Rick Reilly, Shout out to good luck

Kahlil Keys - Global Partnerships at Legends
I will always remember two records in football history. Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in one game, and Kahlil Keys holds the longest rushing touchdown from scrimmage at Yale University.
Who is Kahlil Keys? I asked myself the same question when he stopped me on the street 3 summers ago to reintroduce himself to me.
Today, Kahlil is the Manager of Global Partnerships at Legends, but when I interviewed Kahlil he was still working at Major League Baseball.
In all my years I have never met someone so focused and disciplined. It has been a pleasure to watch him execute.
Working hard + working smart, and connecting with the right people has helped Kahlil off the field.
From the graveyard shift, to record-setting runs at Yale, to MLB, to his work at Legends, Kahlil embodies the spirit of someone who knows what it takes to get a job.
Shout out to the car wash, shout out Zach Berliner, shout out to MSBA, Shout out to people helping people
