This is Season 1 Episode 9 of the Holly Springs Sports Marketing podcast for the upcoming week of 3/9 to 3/14. We review all the upcoming games this week for Women's Soccer, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Lacrosse, Men's Tennis, Men's Golf, Men's Baseball, Track and Field, and Women's Softball. Segment 2 is what's chopping up this week in the Springs which talks about the theater company's production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, premiering this weekend. We also discuss the effects of the devastating coronavirus and the effect it is having on the world of sports. Finally, Ashton hots a game of guess that tune. Segment 3 is our fire player of the week which is also our guest on the show Jordan Ellerson (Jr.) captain of the Women's Lacrosse team. Listen in to find out what Jordan thinks about this upcoming season. Segment 4 is what's happening in the world of Sports/Entertainment. Duke almost lost 4 games in a row but pulled out a clutch win against the Wolfpack. The chances of Tom Brady returning to New England are very slim. Rumors Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are back together. Listen in to what the group thinks about what's happening this week. Finally, Segment 5 is our competition of the week which is Jenga this week. Claire is still leading the leaderboard and Ashton is still winless. Find out who makes the Jenga Tower crumble!

This week (2/17/10-2/23/20) we are previewing the Holly Springs sports this week including spring tryouts and the state qualifying wrestling players brought to you by Khara Orthodontist.

 In this week in the springs, hosted by the HS Butchers market, we discuss the AP and curriculum night hosted at the school (2/20/20), winter guard and indoor percussion event (2,22,20), and "The Best of Enemies" film at the cultural center (2,22,20). 

For the Fire Player of the Week by Firehouse subs, we brought Paul Rider onto the show to overview the wrestling season and ask a few questions about the States tournament (2,20-21). Also being a baseball player, Paul helps us discuss the Astros scandal in segment 4, where the podcast group gives their opinions on the ongoing cheating scandal in the MLB. 

The Fun Fritz Competition involved trivia on MLB baseball and Holly Springs High school. Listen and participate in the game to see how you score compared to our cast, and tune in to see the surprise winner!

This is the fourth podcast of season one brought to you by HSHS students in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing II class! In this week's episode we are previewing  sports this week 2/2/20-2/7/20 including the Play4Kay game on 2/4/20 which is an initiative to funding through basketball game for cancer research. We also talked about our school athletes that are signing on 2/5/20. This week we lost a sport legend, Kobe Bryant so the group talked about his impact on sports and beyond. Finally we played trashketball in honor of Kobe Bryant... find out who dominates in this week's competition!

We also discuss the recent partnership between Migos and Popeyes to launch the "Migos menu", and Ben gives us his recommendations for the upcoming week.
